I was working on Rifleman and CM. I decided I didn't like Rifleman and dropped it but kept CM which is at 3/4/2/4. I think I want to start building a brawler oriented character and believe that TKA is the first step. Only problem is I don't have a lot of free time with school in session and was wondering if there is a way to set up an afk auto-kill macro so that I could turn the macro on and still sit at the computer desk while doing homework. Basically I want it to target, move to, and attack the creature atomatically with minimal attention required by me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, I'll try to give a constructive response here.

You're not going to get support for AFK macro hunting. Of everything you could do AFK, hunting seems the one thing that most people object to. Most people who do it won't even admit it, let alone ask for help with it. It's not "cheating" per se, there are no rules against it, but people aren't going to like it.

Also, it's not very effective. It will take you so much longer to get XP from AFK macros than it would if you were actively hunting that it's just not practical to do so. The only way to do it is to pick an area where fairly weak creatures or NPCs spawn over and over (if they aren't weak you run the risk of dying and not getting any XP at all). However, the places that do that (like where Meatlumps spawn near Corellian cities) give such small numbers of XP that it would take you forever to get past anything but the lowest boxes.

Bottom line, not only is it more ethical to actively hunt (based on most peoples' opinions) but you will get more out of it.

If you are *dead set* on doing AFK macros, there actually is info on how to do it if you look through the stickies on the forum. But I strongly discourage it, you're better off getting buffs or getting in a good group and taking on tough enemies to get better XP. Also, if you don't actively use your combat profession, you are frankly going to suck at combat because you won't know how to do it. There's more to fighting than what skills your character knows.

I agree with the speaker above,

standing with a afk macro will not give you much in the long run.

standing outside coronet like everyone does will evantuelly give you 1 uanrmed xp per thug. Thats not very good ey? noo.

Get yourself a buff and go beat some tuskens up in the fort instead, you will have a nice time doing it, and you gain alot of easy xp
