lok is definately harder. i have lived on both planets and lok is more dangerous overall. the npc's on lok are just as hard, if not harder than the npc's on dant. and the lok npc's use blasters and other weapons as well. as far as creatures go...lok has kimogilas, which are the most dangerous creature in the game, except for kryats of course. so, i would say lok is harder, but dant is definately better for grinding xp. just start hunting huurtons, they give arguably the best xp in the galaxy for the tka in training

I would say dantooine, more critters that will hate you, that is "high" lvl. Jantas, Mokks, pikets, quenkers, huurtons, graul and the annoying versions of voritor lizards.
But Kimogalas are bader than most stuff on dant except the force users that roams on dant, and dark jedis and so on. But Lok is like Kimo's and then mostly walk in the park mobs.. The "human" npc mob thugs can be a pain sometimes tho.
But dant is by far better than LOK in my oppinion when it comes to lvling.

Unbuffed and no armour he's have to be very careful on Endor due to potential high spawn rate and tough critters meaning he can get swamped in seconds.
When I did TKA my first time I was unarmoured and unbuffed - I did quenkers on Dantooine. Just don't use a VK and I did the good old KD + UH2. Worked well enough.
P.S. If you haven't already - get Novice Medic and some high level Stim Bs. It will save you countless number of times.

Unbuffed I can live with, unarmored and you get eaten pretty quick.
I'd recommend getting a suit of ubese 70%+ at your earliest possible convenience, it makes life very easy. If you do missions on dant and keep your wits about you, you should be able to make enough money for a set of ubese fairly quickly.
Don't bother joining a solo group until you have the armor though. Being in a group just increases the number of critters per spawn. Makes it faster to level, but also makes it more dangerous if you don't have armor.

yeah why unbuffed?
but the answer the question...
go to dantooine and get huurtons and quenkers missions... a good way to grind xp and earn some money in meantime you can pay buffs for

yeah, get in a sologroup and get a 20-30k payout mission, then you can get buffed 2-3 times more after the first mission
Can get a speed sliced VK if you dont have one allready.

Sounds like you'd fare fine on Dantooine, if you have all the niceties, that is.
Everyone seems to think it's just a snap to buy armor/swoops/buffs. If you can afford it, however, I would highly suggest getting buffs. As it were, Quenkers are a favorite grinding creature of people for a reason.
Try and find a city with an improved job market, and run Quenker missions to there. Until you get to maybe x/4/4/x, when I started to do Huurton Huntress missions.
Also, as stated above, get yourself a few pairs of speed sliced vibro-knucklers. Now all you need is some patience, and you're good to go!
