ok i know that this isnt specifically a TK question but TK's rock and you guys know alot so im gonna ask yall!
where does ranged and melee defense max out, if they do?

125 onall Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, Block, Dodge, and Counterattack the only thing that can put you above the caps are Chef Foods.
It's explained more in the stickies if you need more info on it.

Not on all defenses, only on 5 defenses: Ranged Defense, Melee Defense, Block, Dodge, and Counterattack. Other defenses have no caps.

State defenses do not have caps. No skills have caps, period, other than what I mentioned above. Some skills like speed have "practical" caps, in that improving them doesn't affect your character any more, but those are the only skills with hard caps in place.

Although I have to say I was quite sure it was on all. I know Ryuteks post only mentions those but when they first went in TH did make it sound like it was on all but he didn't go in to it in great detail.
I'll take your word for it though.

Atama is correct in that only those are capped. When TH made the announcement (so far back) he never gave specifics, and it was like pulling teeth to finally get an answer then. During that timeframe the general consensus was that everything capped until proven otherwise on many of teh boards, and that may be what you were thinking of
