Indeed food and drink have saved my life numerious times in fighting rancors, quenkers, ns, sith and many more but i still have difficulty in finding what is best

i use :- varsarian brandy, canape, gurnava( if that is how it is spelt ) synthasteaks

i dont like using spice but need to when soloing sith and ns because that the only way i can get the jump on them

so what i would like is basically some people advice on what other food and drink i can use to enhance my char stats.

Vercupti of Agazza Boleruuee is a good one. it can add 1k to 2k to your Health, action, and mind.

It is a food. here is an example of some statsfor some found on bloodfin.

Vercupti

filling (food): 49%

health: 1013 for 7min 6s

action: 1013 for 7min 6s

mind: 1013 for 7min 6s

So if you take 2 of these, you will add 2k to your HAM, but your stomach will be full of food. These are great for sticky situations.

Here are what you want if you are going just food, no buffs.

1) Vasarian Brandy - buffs mind/focus/willpower
2) Accaragm - buffs action/quickness/stamina
3) Ahrisa - buffs focus
4) Synthsteak - who doesn't know what this is?
5) Gruuvan Shal - buffs strength

Now here's the cool thing. Except for synthsteak (which lasts for a number of hits instead of for a length of time), you can get a 40 minute duration for ALL of those buffs. That means you take that stuff and it all goes away at once.

What you do is first eat a gruuvan shal and a synthsteak. Then drink a brandy and accaragm. Leave the ahrisa alone this time. Of course do a powerboost as well.

What you end up with is your food meter about halfway full or maybe a bit more, and your drink meter completely full. Since the buffs don't last for the full 45 minutes it takes to empty your stomach, your buffs will run out before your drink meter is empty.

However, this is when ahrisa comes into play. Eat gruuvan shal, drink your accaragm, but instead of drinking brandy eat two ahrisas. Your willpower will suck, but your focus will be so high that it will make up for it and your mind shouldn't go down much at all. The accaragm alone won't fill up the drink meter much, and your food meter would have been empty by this point so you can handle the two ahrisas, the gruuvan shal, and probably a synthsteak if you wanted.

The next time buffs run out, switch back and drink brandy instead of eating the ahrisas, since your drink meter will be empty.

If you stick to a fairly low HAM cost special like Unarmed Combo 1, you can fight pretty effectively with very little downtime and still take on pretty tough guys, without any spice or buffs. I did this very thing today to fight red con Bloodrazors on Lok for about an hour.

definetely second the ahrisa. A life saver unless you know where to get musician buffs easily and quickly. Two brandies and ahrisa have my mind costs very manageable for 45 minutes (I lose 8 mind per UH3 and pretty quick, with VK and 4-piece comp).

some other cool food;

air cake - adds to dodge
burnout sauce - adds to unarmed damage
blue milk - heals mind damage
travel biscuits - + to terrain negotiation for very little fill

.....hmmm...can't think of any more atm.

"air cake - adds to dodge"

A slight correction... Though the description of air cake specifically mentions that it improves your chance to "dodge", in reality what it does is improve your chance to evade attacks. That means that even professions who don't use the dodge skill (like use TKAs) benefit from it.

I find I generaly pack the following:

Brandy

Ahrisa

Canape

Vercupti

Travel Biscuits

as well as some of the good old Spice:

Muon Gold

Neutron Pixie

Generaly I just run around with two brandies & one Ahrisa. If I'm somewhere thats hilly I go for the Travel Biscuits insted (simply as I have no scout).

If I'm taking a paticuly hard mind bashingI will then pop a Canape or two. Or if I'm just generaly geting my arse handed to meI have room for a Vercupi insted.

I find just running around on the brandy & Ahrisa meens thatI can easily switch to what ever I need at the time. Last night for example I got to Dant Mining Outpost & it was been attacked by FS NPCs. There were only a few people there to start with so most people were geting killed quite quickly. Once I got my armour on I started attacking with just the one Ahrisa & the two brandies but I soon found I was taking more of a beating then I could stand. So quickly chew down a bit of Vercupti & I'm fully fighting fit to hold tank as much as I can while people with higher ap weapons sort to them.

As well as that, if I'm walking around unbuffed & I get in to some trouble (say I auto-run while reading a mail on Dath right in to a wild Enraged Bull Rancor Lair), I can quickly pop a Pixie & take some Vercupti& in that state I find theres very little I can't stand up againest.

For PvP how ever I generaly use Canape insted of Ahrisa& only just before the fighting starts, I still don't take much else though, simply as if I'm on deffense I like to be able to have room for more foods. Or if attacking & the turrets start acting up (ie firing faster then they should) I can take a pixie & a vercupti & switch to my speed caped hammer & teach the turret a leason about hiting fast.

Thats how I generaly use my foods, but it's not to everyones tastes (excuse the pun), I know alot of people that favor the stuff like Atama said before me, & others have their own weird/intresting mix.

I think though the only food that is really overlooked by so many people is Ahrisa, mearly as it only buffs one stat & not two. But the duration of it makes it much more usful then Canape (unless you're taking alot of mind damage) simply as why use a food that lasts a quater of the time Ahrisa does when you don't need to regen the mind as you're not losing it.

It's all about the blue milk!

Though, sometimes, I use synthsteak, if I have time to spare before the hunt (digest it).

I keep a case of Vasarian Brandy with me at all times, as well as Vagnerian Canape.

Another crate of Muon Gold, "just in case"

I usually use 2 brandy for general hunting, add an ahrisa or two if it's something tough, then use a canape if I'm getting owned.

Here is what I use. Suggestions for changes are welcome.

First, I never use Spice unless I need to (NS/Sith) or Vercupti (Unless I am about to die).

Powerboost first, as it is based on base instead of buff.

I take two brandy first.

Then Ahrisa.....and I leave it at that.

I save the Canape consumption until I am just about to engage the enemy....then I chomp it real quick. With this combo I can UH3 all day and never lose a point of mind or action....well, at least until the Canape and PB run out. Ten minutes is usually enough for a tough mob or two missions.

The good thing about doing it this way is I can consume brandy and canape whenever the respective buffs wear out without maxing out on food or drink in the meter.....usually they reduce enough to cover the new consumption.

But a word of warning.....BF effects digestion rate, so dont let your BF get too high or you will outrun your stomach.

I am looking for a good combo with Tilla Till....I wanted to try adding more foods, ones to boost defense. Suggestions are welcome.
