Thread: TKMs owned by the Katarn?

Ok, maybe we just stink, but two friends and I got owned multiple times by the Katarn. All three of us are TKM, I am a MCH, one friend is a MRM, and the other is a MD. What in the world are we doing wrong? All three of us are using TKM to attack up close with a lv70 pet helping for a little extra damage. What in the world is the best attacks to use? We can get it almost 2/3 down but then we all drop or ir runs off and regens in a matter of seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What I think you need is some more damage, 3 tka's isn't very much damage. Also I'm not sure, but i think the katarn does aoe to melee range.
So I would suggest :
getting some more damage, 2 or so rifleman or bh
devote the mdoc to just healing
pull with the pet so that it gets initial agro

you coudl use a dedicated healer, and TKM is great as support...but when I watch my combat spam form me and my TKM friend, I do around 800-1K through armor...she does about 300 :/ she also has and used the necrosis nightblade

Thanks all for the replies, I was thinking we needed more help. But there was nobody around last night on the trail. Hopefully tonight will be a better night!

I'mwas aTKM/MCM, and I was able to do it with myself and a Jedi defender. Stick an advanced infect on it to kill its health regen, which is quite fast.

Tell me voodoo678906 how is your damage output as TKM /MCM combo, or do you use it because of its healing potential only?

It helps...the DOTs total round 500ish a tick and the slow on their combat helps in deffense. And cant beat the heals
The Katarn can be duoed and TKs can do enough dmg, just got to pick the hits and keep them going (hit alt attack just before main attack is 1/2 charged)

Np...If you go CM with Tk..deff use all of it..Makes a great improvement and is a blast to play

Get more diversity in your group! As mentioned TKM dont do very much damage. And we only have Armorbreak and dizzy.
Get a Rifleman with full attention on the damage a Pistolero to state and defuff. And a CM is quite handy for heals and DoT's and buffs.
