Thread: Defense questions from a returning player.

So I returned to SWG this past weekend and fired up my old TKA player and noticed the CU changes. So I'm adapting and respecced into a TKM / MBrawler / MSwords template. With my powerhammer equipped and COB running my defense is 283 - melee, 233 - ranged/ 308 - melee, 258 - ranged without the powerhammer. I'm not wearing armor BTW.
Are those numbers average? Low? I did notice that having COB active did not change the numbers at all. With COB off the numbers are the same. Am I missing something?

your numbers look normal,
and people are also saying that the higher the defense gets the less it is effective,
so in theory that should mean that someone with 280melee defense with cob running (extra 500) would be just as strong as someone with 250melee defense with cob running. thats just my theory...
can anyone confirm wether or not this is accurate?
and to answer your cob question, the cob modifier only shows up in the cob icon under your health bar when its running.
its there, it just doesnt show up in your melee/ranged defense chart
