I'm currently at TK 0/0/1/0 (with a bunch of Medic thrown in, working on Doctor, but that's irrelevant), and throughout my career as an unarmed specialist, I've found that I do by far the most damage whilst wearing my VKs (1.8s, 30 - 129) and using Berserk. At this stage in my characters development, spamming UA2 whilst bare-knuckled results in less or similar damage per hit (compared to using VKs whilst Berserk) and I hit much less often. Now, I've recently seen some talk suggesting that Berserk is useless, and that you're much better off going bare-fisted and using specials.

Perhaps it's a matter of different situations calling for different things - using Berserk lowers your defense, so using it whilst surrounded by enemies (something I seek to avoid, as I'm sure most people do) isn't a brilliant idea, so removing the knuckles and using specials would be much better. It's also possible that it's just a matter of my character lacking the skills of a higher level TKA, in which case it's more profitable to go unarmed/specials (or so I've heard).

What's everyone's experience with this?

Vk/berserk deals more dmg until you hit power 4. Until power 4 non VK specials are MUCH slower. The VK actually allows you to hit faster until you get enough unarmed speed.

Now that I have power 4 trained I tend to not use the vk and just spam unarmedhit2s.
