So me and a few other rebels are harassing Bestine as usual, and it's become quite the ugly fight. Imperial BHs and Commandos everywhere, flaming everyone causing massive wounds, an ATST (which we killed, go us) and just general chaos. I'm trying to meditate some wounds off in a building when a rifleman and commando come in after me. I hit the rifleman a few times and he runs off (I'm holding my position in a small room and not running out, as I'm badly wounded). The commando comes in, flames me, and gets a KD2 to the face for his trouble (and dizzy sticks, yay!). The rifleman comes back and manages to incap me, but he's almost dead himself. I FoW, it works, I stand up and incap/DB the rifleman. I start chuckling.

The commando is still lying on the floor, dizzy, so I pop on my VKs and start normal hitting him, since after FoW I don't have the HAM to do anything else. I get him about 3/4s the way down before he manages to get up, and incaps me. I FoW again, it works, and I immediately resume wailing on the commando and since he's stuck in the middle of his flamethrower cooldown, he can't attack back and goes down. Another incap/DB. Then another commando comes in and finishes me off thanks to the 3 incaps and your out rule (but hey, I didn't lose faction and he didn't gain any either).

I was laughing pretty hard after this, 2 imperials that thought they had me, and I managed to kill them both. Us TKs are just full of surprises

Here's one u might like, i'm doing reb missions outside of moenia one night, as i'm destroying an imp base, i can see a blue dot on my radar, so i switch to my rifle real quick and finish off the lair, the entire time, targeting the incoming player while staying focused on the base(had imps camping out by imp bases looking to get easy kills lately, hence the caution).I finish off thebase and the guys is still coming towards me, he stops right in front of me, i say whats up?silence.i say again whats up?silence. I still have him targeted and as i go to run towards next mission he challenges me to a duel, i keep on going, not interested. He sends me a /tell and says go ahead and run u chicken sh*t, i turn around get about 10 meters from him and ask if he's an imp, his response "i dont have all day f$g". I step up to about 4 meters, accept duel, quickly switch to knucklers, KD2, remove knucklers give him a leg attack for fun and an unarmed hit 3 just to let him know he's outmatched.(Mwuhahaha)After he's laying there incapped i let him sweat it out while i'm taunting the hell out of him, DB or no DB?hmmmm. Well i DB'd him and got a /tell about a minute later telling me "u must have gotten a whoel 6 faction points off of me congratulations", my response"actually i got about 20, thanx man"

My suggestion even if u dont have any gun skills buy one to show and carry around, and change your tag over your head if it says any kind of melee skills a gunman is gonna start kiting u like mad, take any advantage that u have, i admit mine was a little cheap but i was not gonna get kited by that buttknocker, sneak up behind people in imp vs. reb conflicts, draw people inside buildings, get an advantage whereever u can fellow mellee artists!!

Stories like this is why we should be able to record demos in game, not just take screenies! MAN!!!
