Heya TKA's, I am a smuggler and has finished getting all the pistoleer skills that I want, and now wanted to work up some TKA as it's a prereq anyway. I was looking at "Force of Will" and it looks like it would be a very nice tool in conjunction with Feign Death. Can someone explain to me how it works? I searched the boards and only found one post saying anythign about it: "Causes you to instantly pop up from incap" Is this true? I just figured it made you regen while incapped faster. Any help would be appreciated.

FoW gives you a chance to stand up immediately after being incaped. Currently it is not very reliable, and drops all your HAM stats to 1 upon a successful execution.

We've heard rumors that FoW is getting an update though, so stay tuned.

WOW! that really sucks. Is that the way it's supposed to be you think? I mean, dropping all your HAM to 1 point? How is that usefull?

Force of Will is there to allow you to get up before being deathblowed...perhaps to perform a surprise attack....or to get up and burst run out of there with out getting DB'ed.

Read my post entitled "A fun Force of Will Story" for an example of where it came it VERY handy. It's not often, but it occasionally helps you pull out a nice clutch win

PvE its helpful...when you are incap'd it works the same as /peace
get up and run like helland hope

PvP add another check for worthless.

It's not worthless in PvP, but it's not reliable enough to really be a good ability. Right now it's more of a "eh, if this works maybe I won't lose faction on this death" sort of thing, and very rarely it'll let you get up from a double incap before your opponent.

I find that FoW works maybe 1/4 to 1/3of the time. Each time in PvP I've used it I got up only to be shot down again (damned ranged players) except for one time. In that case, the DOA-X player, -boogie-, dropped me and went into his "here's a tissue" speech. I managed to pop up before he DBed and just asanotherImperial came into the picture and helped take him down. Sweet revenge since he had DBed 5 minutes prior, lol.
