Thread: WHen can I drop VK's?
My question is, exactly when in the TKA skill branch can I stop using my VK's or do i hit the top speed of my tka?
Ive heard that after a while we should only get VK's sliced for damage without worying about speed.
Some advice requiered.

Try not to think of VK's in the sense of "when can I drop them" - they are always useful, but I (like yourself I'm guessing) prefer to fight without them when it's feasible to do so. It saves HAM costs so I can do more specials and wear armour (currently Ubese) without even coming close to doing myself harm, and I just like it better in principle, being truly unarmed. There's a certain "yay me" factor in beating a Tusken Warlord senseless with your bare hands =)
Regardingspeed, I found that I started hitting as fast without them as with them at Power 3 as a Zabrak, so you can probably count on being able to live without them at that point. Up to it though I still removed them do to any specials (knockdown or my best friends - stun, blind and intimidate) as the slight loss in speed is compensated by the relatively tiny HAM cost without knucklers.
They still have a place after this point but definitely forget about speed slices or initial stats, they're not nearly as useful as damage. Don't forget aboutHAM coststhough - vibroknucklers tend to be high here so try to get a good balance of high damage/low HAM cost.
Actually Im not really planning on dropping VK'S compleatly. I like the damage that they can deal. Im more concerned of when I can stop worrying about slicing them for speed and concentrarte on damage. As you said it should be at power 3.
What do you think is a good set considering dmg (speed aparently not an issue), ham cost or encumbrances?
What type of Ubesse ar you wearing, I think mine might not be that good at all? I mean % of protection to kin, etc.....
I have to agree. about Power III you will be out pacing your knucklers.
Personally, im a Special move spammer. I dont use my knuckler unless fighting an extended battle.
