Thread: Thinking of going TK and Rifleman
I'm a n00b, ok, so slap me if this is stupid...BUT am I crazy for thinking it would be a good idea to start a ranged attack and then switch to unarmed when things get in close? Wouldn't I be a better balanced player having both long and short ranged attack capabilities under my belt?
I talked with a TKM and he said that guns periodwas a waste of time and that I should go pistols instead of rifles if I took my proposed approach.

ATM I am a Master Rifleman/TKA Master & have to say it's very fun in PvP & PvE. With rifle, you always get more XP than any other ranged class & you can use /concealshot to easily kill your prey w/o being noticed. Either way, I did get rifle simply because of PvP against medics & also the defenses. It's really up to you if you want to go rifle.
Combo professions I've seen w/ TKA: rifleman, doctor, commando, smuggler.
Combo professions I've seen w/ Rifleman: doctor, tka, creature handler, 2h swordsman
