At novice brawler, we should get an ability called "stick" that would only be useable within 5 meters.

This "stick" ability would work similar way that /follow does now, except that it breaks the second you try to move away from the target. It would not allow you to dance around.

This stick would however not just make you follow the person you are "stuck" to when the info on said player location are recieved at your computer, this "stick" would establish a server link between us and the player, and coordinate our movement in the server rather than in our computer THEN sending it back to the server.

Basicly, follow works like this(as far as i know):
you /follow someone
he moves on his computer
his computer sends the data to the server
your computer recieves the data on his location
your computer makes your char follow the said char
your computer sends data pack on your location

obviously, when we are sending back data on our location the player might alread be in a different place because of lag.

Stick would work like this
you /stick someone
a chain is established between you and him on the server
he moves his computer
his computer sends data to the server
**the data sends your computer data on where you are supposed to be** (the server moves us around the world instead of our client)

because there is a chain (that breaks if you try to move) the server can automatly determine that you are in range because there is a chain flag between you two, and he couldn't be out of range. If said player burst runs or somethine like that, he would go out of 5 meter range and stick would be broken.


Am i just rambling? how do you like this proposal?

i would also like to propose that a 15%-20% speed reduction would be applied to ranged people when they are shooting ON SOMETHING THAT IS BEHIND THEM and running at the same time.. Or at least a huge accuracy negative modifier
