Lately I have been going back to my roots here and started reading the TKA forums regularly, and I noticed the nerf cries.........but there is just one thing that bothers me about the cries: 95% of the cries are from Gunmonkeys. And my opinion, well.................let's just say all melee has a MAXIMUM range of 20m, and if you are capable of engaging in combat above that range (I.E. ranged weapon users) then there is absolutely no excuse for even complaining about it and you should really honestly be ashamed of yourselves for even feeling theurge to whine, I know Ifeel ashamedwhen it happensto me on my non-melee characters. Instead of taking the loss like a man and admitting your loss you feel that it'sTK's fault......well it's not.......it's you..... you idiot.............

For Pikeman, our non-existant Adversaries are well educated so they do not whine and complain about how we don't "own" them, so we're pretty lucky. I'd like to point out that for Pikeman, 95% of the Pikeman population (totaling at about..hmm.....13?) are well educated (Not saying anyone else isn't), if not slightly demented, so any rants we make are mainly of other melee......right now the champion of our hotspot for rants are indeed Teras Kasi Artists as well. Now there is a connection to why so many people hate TK and it takes some really good and honest TKM's to be able to admit why, and I honor those who can

And finally, what I've noticed in the Nerf Threads is that most people reply to it and they're automatically marked as 'Ranged Users' by the TK community.....just to let you guys know........there are other melee

. Against ranged users there is NOTHING overpowered about TK.......against other melee on the other hand............well............

Dev1: Good gad, Pikeman made it through Beta!....
Dev2: Yes sir, Bob said he forgot to delete them before he went home last night, he'll get to it 'when he can'.

Dev1: Well, in the meantime, make sure you give them low damage, worst accuracy, slowest speed, the only melee class where beyond Novice Brawler their first few weapons are Artisan made, and......umm.......what else.......
Dev2: How about highestHam costs, sir?...
Dev1: Yes!....That's perfect!... That should keep people from being Pikeman......
Dev3: Duuuuuuude.........don't forget to break Block.........

Pikeman: Umm.....

* 7 months later and still counting *

Dev1: Is Bob back yet?......

Pikeman: The only profession who couldn't hit the sands of Tatooine if they dropped their weapon.

You talk about ranged professions not having a good reason to complain, well...

Seems to me that you should be worried about how broken you are instead of how well another profession works!

I'm only partila TKA, but I cant stand this.

Oh you so over power us! Its so unbalanced that a working profession can beat a broken profession. Nerf them to our broken level.

You see, how can you say that someone is overpowered until your own profession is fixed?

Try being constructive in your own profession, working on getting it fixed instead of worrying about other professions that work.

With people like you, your the reason non of us will ever work right for more than a month in this game.

And I'lladmit why you hate TKA...

They're not broken and you are. Sure pike man are screwed completely, and other melee classes have their own benefits but still have much to be desired. TKAs are just in a good spot so everyone gets all bent out of shape about it.

Someone can help me please ? I cant find any interesting post about TKA profession... They're hidden under all that "môoooom, the tka kiillled meee bouuuhaaaouuhhhaaaaa :'( :'("

Check These Post (ideas to improve the game inside) :
Recycling/Reverse Engineering (making loots more interesting than CDEF pistol, crafting inside)
Roleplaying Factionnal War. (with rebel, imps, hutts, blacksuns, jawas... etc...)

Oh.....forgot to mention.....but in numberous posts I have made it clear that, though I do hate TK in some ways, I don't blame them, because like I have mentioned before it's not their fault that they have had the most attention so far. I repeat, I have said this prior in many other posts, and other melee will have their day when they get their fix, but till then the ones who aren't fixed yet, through jealously, will always have a little aggravation towards the ones who did get a fix. And I know I must repeat again, I have said things very similar to this numerous times in other posts.

I am a Former TK mind you since way back coupledays before they took VK certs to Novice Teras Kasi instead of Novice Brawler, so I know what it was like before and after the Teras Kasi beef ups, do you?.....
Anyways, I've never specifically stated that TK is overpowered against a broken Profession Pikeman.....I stated against other melee........do you need me to name the2 other melee professions so you can stop assuming melee means TK, and when I mention my profession, Pikeman?...... There are 2 other professions besides Teras Kasi Artist, and Pikeman. They are Fencer and Heavy Swordsman. Please remember that. Remember, melee don't meant Teras Kasi and whatever else someone happens to mention to you.

And I do believe I did not go on an all out rant in my original post in a tone like yours. Stay calm, and take your pills. And please, change your diapers, it's full of **edit**.

But alas, it was my mistake, i hit 'Submit Post' before I had my conclusion about how the others are broken, which you specifically targetted and began your rant. I will post here later on some posts I have made that dates prior to this post, and have mentioned how TK against other melee aren't Necesarrily overpowered, in some ways yes, but the facts remains that they're the only ones so far that got a real fixing. ThoughI do believe 2 things remain broken in TK, but can't place my finger on it besides acuity.
