With the impending "crack down," it's nice to be TKA because of the contraband scanning. After all, we dont need to carry around quite as much sliced stuff like weapons and armor as many of the other professions. Yeah, we might have VKs and some good Ubese, but it could be worse. I'll still be PO'd if some Stormtrooper takes my sliced Ubese that I paid $100K+ for.

No one will EVER take ANYTHING from your inventory according to the Devs.

i dont think we'd let them live very long if they did... the people who took stuff from us... not the devs...

Heh, you sure. I've gone on shuttles with muon, sitting in my inventory. When I arrive at my destination, start killing some guys and find, I need to pop some muon, it's disappeared.

If no one will EVER take anything with us, what are the penalties for being caught with sliced armor and weapons once the Imperial Crackdown publish is up? Would we be fined or something? What if we didn't have enough cash to pay such a fine? Just wonering why they would scan for contraband if there are no penalties. I know that the point is to make us dependent upon smugglers to get stuff into places (i.e. to smuggle).
