I am 1/1/4/2 and still using Vk's, at what point do you stop?

I never permanently take off my VKs. It all depends on what you're fighting, and even then, I just use my specials wisely rather than take the vk's off.

I have a question on VK's.I'm at 2222 and moving up.The VK's I have used have all lost numbers rather quickly. They have been 956/956 to start with but have quickly dropped to as low as 123/956 is say 10 hours of game time. All in all I have gone through 3 of these. The smith I am buying from says his resources are the best avalible and I have not had problems with other items from him. Is a steep drop normal?

I used VK's off and on up until TKM. Basically, once you have dizzy/KD/UH2, use those when fighting humans, and use your VK/berserk when fighting creatures, or for a long fight where you need to conserve your HAM.

At TKM, I have seen no reason to use VK's when fighting anything.

And yes, its completely normal for your VK's to degrade rapidly, as we attack rapidly. Get a weaponsmith to repair them instead of buying new ones constantly, as getting the slice you want again may take a few tries.

yes use them untill u hit master

because at master u will be hitting at 0.8 speed with just a little less damage then with knucklers but it dosent matter because ur hitting so fast..

that and you can literally do endless specials if u have buffs ... at least i know i can without the VK's on.. i can keep doing uh3 and kd2 all day if need be

I haven't hit master yet, but wouldn't you still want to use your VK's when fighting something with armor? Otherwise you could be losing 50% of your damage

Are you using power ups?

This is a normal drop. The weapons degrade based on number of attacks. Since you attack so fast VK's degrade faster than normal weapons. Use weapon repair kits (only use one's in the high 90's) to extend the life of your VK's.

You'll go through them like water. The good news is they are generally cheap (usually under 10K) and since you only have one weapon type (kinetic) you only have to buy one weapon.

As a master since august, I use vks only in pvp. When I'm tanking a REALLY tough mob sometimes I wear them, but it really doesnt make a difference because when you are tanking a mob with heavy armor and 90% resists to everything, its the difference between doing like 12 and 16 dmg every time you hit. DOTs are all that count at this point. So I'd rather just save the VKs and my powerups for PvP.
