Thread: TKA is a bandwagon profession

Lets say it's the Final Four, and everyone here lives in CT and they never watch basketball. Because their friends like UCONN because they are good and everyone else likes them, they decide to root for them, and pretend like they know what they are saying. This is what TKA is like. EVERYONE IS A TKA. It is too overpowered and I hate seeing people TKA fighting buffed it is so useless, TKA was fine when it first was out at the beginning of the game, but now it is ridiculously overpowered and now everyone is a TKA because everyone is. Stop being posers and do something else. I understand you guys doing the templates with TKA meditation and stuff, but i'm sick of noobies coming in and the very moment they start the game, they work towards TKA. It also makes me mad when posers master TKA and then only have that profession mastered, and challenge people to duel. O christ everyone seriously do something else, add some variety to the game.

I agree. There should be more image designers and squad leaders instead.

Calling TK overpowered when you are a fencers doesn't make you look vey smart...
I see A LOT more Fencers than TK anyhow.
You seem to have issues, log out for a few weeks, work em out, then come back

How is TKA a bandwagon profession? TKA in itself is geared towards PvE. The people you see dueling most likely have Fencer defenses as well. And anyone who duels as a TKA is a fool. Most people have 80% composite armour and our VK's just dont cut it in a duel.

........heh. Now the real truth isn't we are powerful is that just about everyone else isn't in balance anymore. We haven't changed, all we have gotten have been nerfs such as kd timer and a huge increase in HAM for using KD and comp that is 80% kinetic. Its not our problem that the Devs have nerfed everyone to the point where we now found ourselves as one of the better tanks but Fencer is doing just fine the last time I check aside from them finally fixing Scatter Hit 2, or at least I think they did......I know there was something the Fencers were complaining about since they weren't the uber PvP profession anymore.

Good thing at least you are sticking with Fencer, unlike those other posers,now that it has been fixed (notice, I did not say nerf... I said FIXED). Oh, wait... you are not. At least you are not going for the DoT dealing class the rest of the melee crowd is doing. I mean, that would TOTALLY make you a hypocritical poser... oh, wait... you ARE.
Well, on the plus side you are not going for the trite Jedi class like the rest of... oh... don't tell me... you are doing that too, eh? I'm sureirl you are a good person and stand up for your individuality...oh, wait... you bought this game just like everybody else....
P.S.: Let me guess, you lost a duel to a TKA while you were unprepared (shifting your template to include the new FOTM DoT attacks) and now are needing to place the blame on the TKA community as a whole to protect your fragile ego. Here, let me help you. /hug;/comfort;/reassure. Better?

TKA has not changed at all, aside from the nerfs it has received here and there.
Are you even paying attention to what you're typing?! You're a Fencer/Pikeman for pete's sake. You think THEY aren't popular professions as well? Not to mention doctor. And you say you hate seeing TKA's fight buffed. But you, being a fencer/pikeman, are above that statement and its okay for you to fight buffed. (after buffing yourself, that is.)
I don't get it. Its alright by you to dabble in the profession, but mastering it (thereby reducing skillpoints for other needs) is out of the question? I really don't get it. MOST of the TKAs I see AREN'T master, they only have 1 or 2 skill lines. I'd think thats what you would be getting upset about, but it seems you're contradicting yourself.
Not everyone is as zealous as you about completing their "templates." Maybe they just want to ENJOY the game, and do some friendly dueling WITHOUT worrying about how their defences are stacked. Are you telling me when you mastered Fencer, you didn't duel anyone?
I only need remind you what your chosen professions are. (those being Fencer/Pikeman/Doctor.) Wheres the variety in that, eh?
