Thread: Two Questions: Do I need armor and Just TKM?

Ok im dropping BH! My quesiton is can i effectively fight in PvE (NS, Janta, etc, etc.) With only TKM? Or do I need another prof?
And I get varied reports of wither or not I need armor. Do I dont I need armor?

i can kill janta and the other caveman much faster then they can kill me so no i don't need armor, actually im taking a break from killing janta armorless to write this right now lol.

You wont be able to kill higher level mobs. Nightsisters, Krayts, Kimos. Theyre all out of the question for a TKA. Picking up Swordsman is a popular supplement to the TKA profession.

In most situations the only armor I wear is Ubese gloves and sometimes the boots. On occasion I put my Composite helmet on, but when just doing average (ie, not NS or Kimos or Krayts) I'll go with as little armor as possible.

now with the patch you can be x/4/x/x, 4/x/x/x, x/x/4/x, or x/x/x/4 in BH and still master tka, i suggest you go with one of those, since Bh is always a fun thing to have, plus you can hunt down jedi as a tkm :-P Imagine their suprise! as tkm, i found that i don't use armor very much, against janta missiong and such i will occassionally but only if i'm overt in case i'm gonnna get jumped. but thats it.

Done them all as a pure TKM

Depends which nightsisters you come across. Some are 100% kinetic resists...can't do much with those. But, I'm a group player, and when we come across one of those, I let the other members of my group take them on and I go for the others. Occasionally I'll wear ubese armor. But, for the most part I don't wear any. I just find I kill things fast enough without having to deal with the encumbrance of composite armor. After all, if I'm wearing composite and I'm doing my specials (which is usually the case), my mind is tapped quicker than I can kill, even with buffs and brandy. So, generally, it makes no sense for me to wear armor. The only time armor is really useful for me is in PvP. Otherwise, I will end up actually dying if I wear armor because of the mind drain and the slow regeneration rate. Without armor, I can go a lot longer. Human TKM can generally migrate their mindstats so this isn't a problem. But, as a Twi'lek, I cannot migrate my mind high enough to make armor worth wearing, so I don't wear it. Odd that I'm more likely to die with armor, than without, but that is the case.
