Thread: Hints for Leveling TKA

I had recently posted that quenkers and huurtonswere the way to go to level TKA...


I've changed my mind At least once you get a power box or two into TKA.


If you need cash, do 7-9k missions VS. humanoid enemies; you will own them. Or, do huurton huntress missions and if buffed spam unarmedcombo1 or unarmedhit2. If not buffed, use berserk and heal yourself as needed.


If you don't need cash, get buffed, drunk (2 shots of ~400 strength vaserian brandy, bring a bottle)and kinetic armored and go to Fort Tusken (POI on your datapad on tatooine). Dizzy + Knockdown + spam unarmedHit2 will eliminate anything fairly quickly. Don't worry too much if dizzy/knockdown doesn't hit, you'll still be okay.


Personally, I was 0 1 3 1 when I went there last night and came out 0 1 4 2 without a scatch.


The one thing you need to look out for is snipers and better with their rifles, they have some mean headshots which will eat you mind fast. Run up to them and force them to melee and you'll have no troubles. If you're melee'ing one, and another starts shooting you, run to the other and the first meleer will follow you. Then you can do unarmedspin attack or just take each out one at a time.


IMHO Fort Tusken is better than quenkers/huurtons because it is more interesting, less downtime, and less lonely. If it's too busy you may want to come back at a different time, but YMMV.


Some of this is in the TKA Faq but I thought it'd be useful for anyone in a similar position.

That's pretty much what I did until I hit Power Tech 4. Then I finished up in the squill cave. It's nice to get 8 or 10 squills on you then spam unarmedspin.

I went to TKM no buffs (doctor, food or spice), no armour, no PSG, but this is with the pre patch Sav Quenkers, with some 4/0/4/0 Medic and a crate of 30 Stim Bs. Only used them after a whole lair though.

Unarmed 1 - 3: Outside Coronet
Unarmed 4 - TKN: Diseased Bobcats on Tatooine
Balance 1: Vicous Huf Duns on Talus
To TKM: Savage Quenkers.

Unarmed 1 - 3: Easy. Just attack and wait.
Unarmed 4 - TKN: Stun, then hit UH1, or go Berserk with aVK
Balance 1: Uh2, Uh2, Uh2,... Or Berserk with a VK (not recommended).
To TKM: KD1, Uh2, Uh2, Uh2....

I managed Balance 1 to TKM in 1 day with no buffs and no armour, KD + Uh2 is a really deadly combo.
