Well, after much grinding at Fort Tusken and the Squill Cave, I finally made TKM. I must say this is the most fun profession I have mastered. I am really enjoying it. It is also by far the hardest profession I've mastered. Being a Wookie and having wicker basket armor made it a challenge to level.

To all the "Nerf TKM" whinners out there, no nerfs are necessary, this is one of the few working professions.

Congratulations.

I think you'll find, however, that you'll rarely wind up wearing armor in PvE and usually hold it in reserve for high-end PvE mobs and PvP. For the most part, when I'm hunting on Dathomir, I only usually wear armor if fighting multiple opponents and even then only when they have Medium armor or better. Outside of that, my buffs and Intimidate go a long way to keeping a mob in check while I pound the ever-loving crap out of them.

Go to Tatooine, go to waypoint 0 0. I did most of the grind there. Averaged 300k-500k xp an hour there. Of course it helped a great deal that I'm also MCH. The pets took the beating for me.

Nice! I mastered TKM the old fashion way going around thhe whole planet on Rori with gay chitin armour!

My current template is MCH/TKM/Novice Medic. So far this combo is an awesome inPvE. I was going to ask about armor. But you guys already answered my question. I've also noticed that most TK'ers are really nice people to talk to. During the grind there was not one TKM who was not willing to assist with training or answer questions. That is really appreciated and shows the maturity of the TK community.

Congrats! I agree about the armor. I usually only wear mine with higher level mobs. As for when I mastered, I mainly killed sharnaff on corellia, decent money and great xp.

Congrats, being that youre a Wookie, you really wont need to wear armour. Try getting novice medic to compliment your skills.
