i was doing the Nightsister Quests at the strong hold, and guess what Mother Nightsister wanted me to do..... she wanted me to kill Sister Aleta (spelling??) which has 100% to kenetic and many others...... HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KILL HER?
im a master doc/ tkm, im pretty sure she was 100% heat too so even the new VK wont do crap to her. this only shows how much we need more than just 2 diffrent damage types, and their shouldnt even be a 100% resistant in a quest in the first place.....
SO...... if you read this DrArgule, talk to the devs about this.

Ya arn't you so excited for heat!!!!! o well they must have not thought that one through much. most of the mobs that are 100% kenetic are also 100% heat too. sux for us tk.

Bring a friend? a swordsman perhaps..
I'm sure after the combat balance we probably wont be soloing nightsisters again anyway.
I understand that it's frustrating but I can't see anything being done about it other than the devs suggesting you bring a friend.

i was told from advertising in this game when it launched (i been here seince launch) we can solo. well here i am trying to solo, so if they nerf it to where you cant solo, thats false advertisement and here come the lawsuits.
i was lucky my spawn was right next to a jedi, she gladly helped me, then my second one, yes Mother NS gave me another 100% kenetic mission, i had to find a swordsman master to come kill her for me while i just stood their tanking........
tonight i went to spider clan cave...... WOOPIE i ran into a web dancer thats OMG 100% kenetic LOL, but she was also 100% stun, 100% blast, 80% heat (yes i wish i had the blacksun VK)
sadly when the blacksun VK come out they will be too expensive for me :-/
ohh and for you people that hate unarmed haven weapons then why dont we just take those weapons away, add in special item called "Nightsister enchanted wrappings" they will wrap around your gloves (armor) and will add elemnt type (stun, heat, electric, ect...) and seince were taking damage from tk (VK's) we add another200-300 dmg to TK profession) would that make you all happy?

I remember since launch that this game was supposed to be group oriented.
Anyways,we can solo just about anything in this game, go solo a Kimo, its easy. I did it armorless. Seriouslywe can solo just about everything in this game but like 10 mobs at most.

YOu can solo... can you solo absolutely every mob? No. TK's are suppose to be great tanks and to counter that they limit them, currently, to kinetic only and make some of the higher end mobs very resistant to kinetic. Bring a rifleman or commando... both are great against NS's.
I am TKM/M. Fencer and hunt NS's (Incliuding Elders with 100% resist to kinetic) with some other melee friends but we always bring either a commando/rifleman or at the very least a swordsman. We tank while they kill and it goes pretty quick.
In order to make the game exciting enough for all players they have to put in content that is just not viable to solo, that will take a well rounded group to take down. Do not expect this to change, in fact expect more of this after the combat revamp.

after the combat rebalance you might as well say hello womp rats...... i am soloing things right now, but i want to solo hard things like NS elders, i can tank her easy, but i cant do ANY dmg to her..... even if it was only 100 dmg a hit thatd be fine...... but we do 0 dmg. plus every profession of combat from my knowledge has at lest 3 diffrent damage types except TK

This had better be a troll for flames,if not it is an embarassing display for a TKM. Either way, Gohan you are without question the biggest jackass in the game. Ok there it is. The flame you were asking for.
Before you file your lawsuit go back and listen to the same developers that said you could solo and read that some mobs are meant to be done by groups, and not soloable by any class. The Devs have worked at every rebalance patch to chop down the tall poppy, MCH and Commandos most notably, when they were soloing Ancient Krayts and NS Elders. Now it is our turn. We will get a much needed pimp-slapping, only about 6 months later than I expected.
I know, I know, you are so used to your()()83R-1337ness skillz that you won't be happy until you KD an AT-AT by kicking it in the junk.

Dunno about you, but MCH's soloing Elders was something I'da loved to have seen...since the Elders take out the pets faster than you can say "OMG, Fluffy's dead!"

LMAO as a MCH/TKM I can attest to this! But I just made TKM last night. BTW my favorite pet is a Gurrek named Fluffy.

these quests werent elders though, or i dun think so, but why... why a quest NPC have 100% resist, thats not even close to fair..... that was pure luck a jedi was next to me..... to help me.....cant wait for my jedi

If you want to play a game where you can solo everything why don't you go play a single player game? Oh, that's right! You can't brag to everyone about how great you are then.
