I try to do a reasonable amount of research on forums etc before posting questions I assume have been asked before, but I have found contradictory statements about Personal Shield Generators. One place, here actually, I read "PSG's are a must for TK" and elsewhere (I forget) I read that they were not useful to TK's because your body is entirely within the field, so the barrier suppresses your own attack, but that they are very good for riflemen, whose weapon extends past the field. If I could buy one for a couple thousand credits I'd just experiment, but they are pretty expensive for a newer player, like moi. Thanks in advance to the Unarmed Brotherhood/Sisterhood...errr.. Personhood?...Sentiencehood?....hmmm...

Ummm.... Someone's pulling your leg. PSGs in no way limit your own attacks when you wear them. Whoever told you that? Slap them.
