I've been a tka for about a month now and I use powerboost a lot, but lately i've noticed that all of the other tkm's that i know get +500 when they powerboost and I only get +200. Is there something i should do when I powerboost so they I get more points added?

The powerboost is based upon your mind stats. If you only have 400 mind you will only get a 200 pt boost, those that you see getting +500 (550 for wookiee's) is because there mind is at 1000. Find your self a ID after you get your stats correct.

Humans get 1100 to mind pool as well. My pb's are 550.

Note that when you use powerboost, it ignores any buffs to your mind, so if you buff your mind with food/drink or an entertainer buff it still only counts your base mind stat.
BUT if you have mind wounds, those DO count and will lower the powerboost amount.
So for example, your mind is 1000 and you get a buff of 500 from an entertainer to your mind, then drink brandy for another 500, you still only get a 500 point boost to your pools (half of base stat 1000).
If you then later get 100 wounds to your mind (let's say you died and didn't clone) and your mind is now 900, you only get a 450 point boost to your pools. Even if you get a buff to your mind which brings it back up to 1000 or puts it over it still only goes by the 900 point value.
The moral of the story is that you should meditate and heal your mind wounds before powerboosting.

They dont necessarily get 1100 mind.. you can have 1100 in any pool with a human.. although i like my zabrak because i get equilibrium
