Howdy all,

I am soon to be a Novice TK and I took all of your advice bought 4 vibro knucklers, and I went to Dantooine to hunt savage quenkers (about 3.2K each). I cannot find just quenkers (non savage..They exist) Ok any how, the XP per lair is like 25-30k easy..But to kill JUST ONE savage quenker will take me about 5-10min each little guy lol...I have VN and everything..It's just SO LONGG to kill one guy and it gets super annoying sitting there (not getting hurt at all, wearing buffs, brandy, my best made set of armor) and finbally after killing 1 got to kill like 7 others lol..Please any tips to kill these stupid things..I am using unarmed STUN, and unarmedhit. Thanks guys

Don't bother with Savage Quenkers till you are well into the Power Techniques tree, since you won't be hitting for much at all right now. Just stick with regular Quenkers till Power Techniques 2 or maybe 3, then go off on Huurton Stalkers. That's what I did, since the Savage Quenkers use a ranged attack, sometimes, which can be very annoying.

For getting up to novice, try Giant worrts on tatooine. They die fairly quick, they don't all jump you, and I believe they're 2K XP when grouped. That, or just run regular huurton pack missions till novice, then switch to a huge solo group, while grabbing the 5K quenker missions. You'll get double or triple the quenkers that a normal mission gives, because the mission level will be 99, but the individual quenkers wont be any harder.

Word of advice though.... Avoid the 18K quenker missions like the plague, those are relic reapers, but the terminals label them as regular quenkers.

Try finding some feral banthas and just use spin on them till they're down. Or if your after quenkers stick to the regular ones and just spin on them. Then get a book, make some food etc.

ohhh then grind that out baby... don't do savage cause they have what... a 50% reduction to kinetic. Do regular quenkers or you can go to naboo and just hit kaduu like I do to grind Unarmed IV.

Yes Yes, stick to the regular quenker missions, they are going on chilastra for about 5K each. I am in almost the same boat as you, as I just achieved Novice TK. The regular quenkers only have a kinetic resitance of about 15 maybe 20 percent, but the savage quenkers have like a 35 percent kinetic restistance, making them much harder to kill for people at the skill level that we are at.

Don't bother with quenkers until you finish unarmed 4. Takes way too long. Go to Rori, Naupune(Sp?), exit the starport, go to the right of the hotel. There are 4 aggro trandoshans there. They give excellent XP, and respawn as you loot them. Keep any vibro motors you find. You won't need buffs. Don't bother with any other special except berserker1 until after you novice. Write a macro for it. /berserk1; /pause 5; /macro berserk. After you finish unarmed 4, and are ready to work on novice, get buffed and go to Dantooine and do Huurton Howler missions. Milk the lairs, going back and forth from one mission to the other between spawns. Use your berkserk macro. You should have Novice before your buffs run out.

Haha, if you think grinding unarmed 4 takes forever, wait until you have to grind 125k to get novice TKA.....talk about boring and long.......I've mastered all of the combat professions except bounty hunter and getting to novice TKA what the worst experience ever.....you just can't do enough damage until you get certification for VK's. At least other professions progressively got easier because you get a new weapon certificate with every level.......but I agree with those that said leave quenkers alone......you should not be on dantooine at unarmed 4........

I don't have a specific place for you to level up....I leveled everywhere on every single planet when I did TK but mostly fought thugs. I finally settled on pikets when I got VK certification and then did the kunga cave once I had the speed.......5k per kunga there, no special loot though.....I like to get money and loot while i'm grinding.....you know kill 2 birds with 1 stone type of thinking. Anyway, good luck on the long journey of grinding......have patience though.....

I did Unarmed IV and Teras Kasi Novice in a couple of runthroughs of the Beetle Cave on Tatooine.

The hardest grind for all the unarmed xp is to get unarmed 4. It took me a solid 6 hours doing quenkers. Once you get Novice TKA i did quenkers and usually got 15-20k xp per lair and usually could kill a lair in less then 3 minutes. It adds up fast and you can usually Master TKA in a week or so.

And who the hell said anyone should be able to get TKN in 30 minutes? Of course it takes a long time, most professions do. What's up with people crying because they can't master it in 4 hours?

Actually, the grind to novice isn't THAT bad. Once you have unarmed 4, just do huurton pack missions, shouldn't take long at all.
