Thread: Dfence stacker? or tkm/Doc
I think Tkm/mdoc works better then defense stacker from what i've seen I've won agianst of plenty defense stackers. They usally have noivice medic of some sort or something but after being tired down by the cooldown and barely able to survive i think doctor would prevail with less cooldown. To me it clearly has an advantage of d stackers but since tkm can no longer hit your mind they can probobly last longer.
Haven't had a chance to really get to try out my template but I'm tweaking it as I go. Here's my 2 cents anyway:
Master Doc TKM is a nice support template for pvp but it can't really deal any damage,so I dropped 2 lines of medic and went Sword0004 for the healer/melee template (gives me improved critical strike and +60 general melee accuracy).
Most pvp toons have doc or CM4000 in their template which, with foods/clothes/AA's, is more than enough to look after yourself.
Since rezzing seems so buggy, in amongst all the lag of pvp, andhas only resulted in me getting killed I'm tempted to go something like Doc4004 and get more Swords or Pikeman for intimidate. Not sure what this will do for my combat level, I'd like to find out.
Anyway, in answer to your question doc/medic heals are very handy and aren't limited to stim cooldown timers of 30/60 secs depending on taking Ruby Bliel. Assuming that you're 1 v 1 with a nonmedic stacker the advantage will be with the doc since you know he's limited to stim heals. I'm going to try a TKM/Doc/Stacker template for a bit to see how I get on.
TKA tanking, swords offense, and doc heals/buffs. Biggest deficientcy is in dealing with a crowd of mobs (you get area taunt, but no area dmg specials).

u can concentrate on damage dealing if u want to add abilities to your TKM template - dabbling in swordman (i did 0004) or just get MSwordman and dabble in Doc4000.

there were some tests of tkm defenses right after the CU published here in the forum. when u have COB running the +500 gives your defenses such a boost that any additional defense mods seem to make no difference any more. so as long as your COB is running u dont need defense stacking.

True dat. Its no longer defense stacking. All your defense comes from TKM (innate armor and CoB). Instead, its actually now more accurate to call it offense stacking, since you're picking up other melee profs to get either specials or melee/speed mods.
