I am stuck on two, if not more, templates.
I want to have TKM for the innate armour because I am not that rich to buy armour.
However, TKM doesn't have a whole lot of power by itself, so I almost have to have one of the other three melee professions.
And I want at least 4004 in doctor to have good heals (including Imp. Infusion to help me tank) and the Adrenal boost is great, but I don't have enough skill points in some cases.
If I go TKM/MSword I have good defence and good attacks (plus my two awesome revamped Power Hammers) then I can get one full tree of Doctor. Should I get the Impr. Heals or the Buff line with Adrenal Boost?
I already Have a TKM/ Sword 0444/ Doc 4004 on a different server, but something feels lacking in that either defence or power or both.
TKA 2100 / Sword 0032 / MFencer / Doc 4004 I get +500 Defence from Imp. Self Buff and Heals and I can blind, bleed and lunge out at people at a longer distance. COB and the Power Boost for 500 more health witch is not all that important. Adv. Armour break and a bit of accuracy from Swords. And the full attacks and armour mitigation for battle, but I don't have the money to buy battle armour =(. This also leaves me at combat level 78, witch is OK too, but 80 is more preferable.
TKM / Swords 0030 / Pikeman 0400 / Doc 4004 Gives me defence, armour break and the ever coveted spin attacks from pikeman. But I am very spread out, I do not know what my combat level would be and I don't have many of the powerful attacks that Swordsman has (just ArBreak).
MSwords/ MDoc / TKA 2100 Full armour mitigation (wich i can't buy) self buffs and heals and can Revive people in my group as well as the COB and Power Boost from TKA and the attacks from Swords. I know I have combat level 80 with the 2 elite combats, but I don't have a whole lot of money to buy good armour, wich makes me want to go back to TKM.
Those are just a few of the templates I have been fooling around with. It is not too late for me to decide, I am still on the grind to get my template (what ever it might be). I was just switching over from being a BH/CM/Rifleman. So this is quite a transition for me, from Ranged to Melee.

I was a Tripple Crown before the CU hit. Master Teras Kasi, Pistoleer and Smuggler. The only tripple elite profession in the game.

Well honestly I would recommend anyone who is building a pvp template don't go 0004 stay with 4000. The buffs are nice , but unless u are planning on being a super mack daddy support role dont waste your points man!

Last night I was dueling a couple jedi guildmates. My temp is TKM/Swords0444/Doc4004. I was surprised at how well I was doing. With heals, buffs, and the right foods, I outlasted one guildie who is MLS Mdef with some healer and enhancer even with Avoid Incap running. The other guildie I went 1-1 with because I started getting the "cannot knockdown recovery with knocked down" bug and missed a few heals.
I was honestly surprised with how well I did considering I did not tune myself for PVP. But it turns out I can last in a fight. Oh...one last note, I was using a Scythe blade with a SAC powerup. I need to get my Katarn Knuckles tonight and see how I do with those.

I built this temp recently on my main, mostly PvE motivated. Haven't really played with it in PvP yet, but I expect it will do quite well.

Do this temp, you can tank just as well if not better then any master doc/tkm, not to mention you can deal damage, and feel somewhat like the tkm of old lol, i have fun with it, im a tkm at heart, the cool thing is that when i get bored of crushing people with my hands i can make it go faster with a big hammer to their skulls MUAHAHAHAHAHAH, the Dark Side is strong in this template lol do what you want man, do what you like to play if you like tank you can do just about anything combined with tkm, if you like to rez and buff people and be a support guy with tanking ability go tkm/master doc

I have that template on my Wookiee on Wanderhome. I don't use him that much because, well frankly, the entire server is dead. No one to realy test it out on, no one to duel with or guild with (that is worth while) or go try and kill Necrosis with. And no one to make armour on that server so I almost HAD to go TKM for armour. If anyone is on WH that thinks other wise I would love to hear from you, I sometimes like to be proven inccorect.
But, thanks, I think I will try TKM/MSM/4DOC on my character on Shadowfire (which is not dead). If it is as good as you say so, it will be worth my time.

Does this make you level 80? I was planning on doing TKM/MPike/Doc but I was torn between doc 4000 and 0004, since i thought you had to have 2 masters to be an 80.If this is infact a level 80 temp then I mught just have to try it.

My template is CL80. You can also calculate your level for any template using Kodan's CU ProfCalc from bloodfin.org.
