Thread: will equipping a weapon negate my TK armor?

I did a search and couldnt find a specific answer to this,
I am planning on TKM, doc 4004, and Swordsman(maybe fencer im not reall sure on this yet), when i equip a sword will it negate my TK armor? I plan on using a weapon 99% of the time since at least at my level so far I do way more damage with a weapon than i do with my fists. Currently im TK 0112, and doc 4004, CL 41 my fists for alot less than my rancor sword, whenI equip a blaster fist it is still hitting for 60 or so less. both are close in numbers and same combat level. Any advice would be appreciated.

Innate Armor is not cancelled by equipping any weapon (otherwise, knucks would be useless). That's why I tend to carry a laser rifle on me for pulling.
