Ok, here is where you get these:
ICOB: TK 0100
PR: Master Brawler
IDS: BH 4000
To make being a MTK special, they should make ICOB a MASTER level skill. This would stop our profession from being ripped off of this skill. Just think, you can be a TK 2110 and have Power Boost, ICOB, and Dizzy Attack. All 3 of these skills are prime TK skills that other classes can get to easy.
Parry Riposte vs ICOB. If your template includes Master Brawler, PR could be a better defence in the long run. ICOB will give an extra 500 to defence, but wouldn't 250 work just fine since you will also be returning damage against you? Has anyone done heavy testing with PR verse a Jedi to see what damage level get returned?
Or what if you have both, do they stack to 750? I haven't tested this. Anyone?

last time i checked personally Parry resposte always only returned 15 damage per attack. No matter what you were fighting, from a meatlump to necrosis it was always 15 points of damage... of course that was pre-publish 20 so you never know if they may have stealth fixed it.

Even when I had Master Brawler, I never used PR due to its lasting only 1 hit and then ending. Was a waste of a combat round to "cast".

I don't know where you got this information, but Parry Riposte Stance doesn't give you +250 Defense. It only gives you +80 Defense for 10 secs, and it's exactly the same as the Swordman's basic Flurry.
And yes the damage it returns used to be only 15 or so points, however I haven't seen it return ANY damage at all since at least 2 publishes (neither does Flurry anymore for that matter). So I get the impression they recently broke it.
I do however agreee that Improved Center of Being should be much higher up in the TK tree, it's way to easy to get now for such a great skill. I'm not sure if master would be fair though, because then while grinding the class you'll pretty much suck all the way to master. But maybe putting it in a tier 4 box would be much better, certainly better than it is now.

250 is duelist stance. My bad...shouldn't be on the forums typing stuff fast when I should be working!

There is no point to moving it. How many people do you really think took x1xx of Tka? Most either have master or at least the whole tree.
If you moved it to master it would suck for anyone grinding it out. And if you did that why not move all improved specials to master, like AB. Then everyone would be a mtka/mswords.

there was a proposal earlier in the forums to give tka master an advanced version of cob - longer duration, no need to stand still and/or no warmup timer were some of the possible features. this would be nice and give some additional incentive to master the prof.

parry riposte is only good if linked with taunt in a macro, any other reason for using it really has no point
