Thread: Power Boost Broken?

When i try and use power boost, (im a Master TK) i get this message that says "you are unable to focus your powers at this time" or something like that? The problem is is thatim not even buffed when i try? Before the new mount and city patch i was able to do it and when it ran out i would do it again but now it won't let me at all? Anyone else having this problem?

curious: i used it several times yesterday and never got an error. this might be related to the bug that doctors get sometimes when they try to buff someone (they get a msg saying that person is buffed, even if they are not).


if it does happen to you again, try disconnecting and see if that helps.

yep i tried loggin off for a hour or so to watch the hockey game and when i got back on the same thing was happening? Oh well, hopefully the devs here this from someone else and get it fixed.

Hmm. That is odd. I used it a few times last night with no trouble. I'll be updating the SoP thread today, so post this on that thread as a bug and I'll be sure it gets added in there.

Yeah my PB happened then it just went away like 2 secs after I did it. Guess we can't use it close together anymore.

I've got a different issue with Powerboost. Finally tried it with a Dancer Buff and the dance buff didn't stack.


Original mind - 1100


dance buff - 1100


Final mind was 2750, not 3300.

I had this bug with PB too were i could not use it and all i did was get myself killed (took everything out of my invantory becouse of decay) and now i can use PB just fine . took me forever to find someone to kill me they all thought i was tricking them and was going to kill them. someone try this and come back and tell the others it worked.

i haven't had this and i used it several times in a row, but of couse the CoB and defensive acuity are broken yet.

Anyone having problems with Power Boost? When I try to Meditate I don't go into the normal kneeling position, I just sit on the ground. When I try to Power Boost I'm told "You cannot channel your energies any further" as if I'm already boosted but I'm not?


If this is a bug then I hope to hell it's fixed asap!
