Hi!
Im a TKM!
And i love it... But im short on skill points so i would like to know if Master brawler is needed to be effectiv in PVP or uber..... The extra skill mods, and does new abillities!! Does it make a diffrence in PVP(Duel and GCW??)
Or can i just ignore it and put some points elsewere?

Master BrawlerRocks with TKA
Lunge 2 With 20 Meter range Very handy in PVP for slowing people running away
Warcry 2 AOE 20 Second Delay
Intimerdate 2 40% speed debuff
these are beside the bonuses for TKA Skills, Ranged and Melee Defence as well
Also there are some nice Defences which come from Fencer and Pistoleer tree if points allow.

It absolutely makes a difference in duels. War cry2 is a 20 second delay (which is basically a duel winner if you can get it off first.)
In open PvP Lunge2 is gonna be your very best friend when you come across someone just outside of normal range (I'm thinking that the range on this will be killed at some point).

Hmmm.... I thought about this Template:
Master TKA
Scout - 1-4 Explortion(for being mobile in hills.. In GCW)
Smuggler - Rouge
Master Rifleman!
Then i got 3 Skill points left
Dosent involve Master Brawler though
or maybe:
Master TKA
Master Brawler
Master carbineer(ranged KD)
Scout - Explor 1(A bit faster on hills)
Hmmm... I think its very confusing....
I don't really like Marksman at all, but im affraid i wont have a chance in open GCW in a big battle, when people with ranged can take me! In duel i can understand, that if the ranged dude keeps himself 30 feet away, he deserves to win! But out in the open, their aint noone to help you, other than another ranged master class?
Or could i go:
Master TKA
Master Brawler
Master Pikeman/Fencer/2H sword
Or maybe:
Master TKA
Master Fencer
Master 2H sword/Pikeman
Hmmmmm.... Maybe it will get booring if i don't craft also???
ARGHHH... Stupid 250 Skill point cap

I prefer more point efficient:
Master TKA
Smuggler 0-1-4-0
Master Pistoleer
Medic 1-0-0-0
Scout 3-0-0-0
You are NOT the best at melee, but you are very powerful up close compared to others. A master brawler TKA is your downfall. Your not the best ranged attacker, but you got the skills to be better than normal, especially from Smuggler. When you put these two classes together, you are extremely powerful. Range for the melee you cannot defeat and melee for the range thats in your face thinking your just a Scout.
(Never wear the medic title, people will now assume Doctor or Combat Medic.

i would think instead of mastering carbineer, go up the DF tree in smuggler, cause pistol is faster/less ham eater, and you get the 64m delay, and last ditch (pwnage) and since you have unarm req, and less skill points than mastering, then you got more skills points for like pikeman, which pwn PvP, despite what anybody says

Someone else indicated it with their template numbers, but you don't need 4 in Scout Exploration for the max terrain negotiation numbers from that line. That'll free up 5 points for you. Just an FYI.

Honestly, I dumped scout about 3 weeks ago and I havent missed it. Most PvP is done on flat terrain in cities. If you get a master ranged profession then you can let them run =)
