Hey, guys! I just wanted to know what kind of armor you tka's out there use (if any). I currently have a few extra credits on me, and i wanted to know if (as a TKA) i needed armor of any kind. if so... what kind? what do you use? what stats to be concerned with the most?

If you fight creatures a lot, you might want to consider wearing Ubese. With the light AR taking away some damage, and withkinetic resists up to 70 % you can really cut down on the damage inflicted on you. Definatly worth it. HAM costs are higher of course, but still not as bad as if you had tried to put on a full set of composite.

I use composite on my grinding, but word to the wise use food and drink to buff yout focus as high as you can or else you will spam our mind away

Right now i'm 0-1-2-2 but i have been busy with another profession at the moment. what i mean is, i can work up the tree in a couple of days if i devote all my time to it. i was just wondering what kind of armor i should get (if any) because a master armor smith owes me a favor

my personal favorite is 75% kinetic ubese. but i only fight mobs. its excellent if thats what your looking to do. the max dmg done to you will be 18 - 40. major draw back is that it has 15-20 effectiveness to every other attack. but since i rarely fight npcs i dont really worry about it unless im fighting a spitter. another drawback is the cost. i thinks its a tad to expensive but im gonna keep buying it. no other complaints but that. all in all its a must have. youll be soloing mutliple reds at one time. who could ask for anything more?

depends on how you play really... i use heavy composite with both entertainer buffs and doc buffs, along with rysticate (spelling is terrible)and breath of heaven. I rarely die unless I'm bled for like 1.6k (stupid tuskens!).

You could also go with a system where you dont use armor at all, and instead use commands such as center of being, and gain skills with defence in mind. This would be like powerboost, force of will, and center combo. progressing x/4/x/x basically. This works well coupled with novice medic and stimpacks, as well as drinks such as fishak to basically keep you healed.

Finally, I know a lot of people that swear by high kinetic ubese. It's a nice compromise, but most likely you'll still need buffs, unless you get a sliced suit (which tends to wear out quite quickly). This isn't my personal favorite because if I need buffs anyway, the extra 200 ham isn't that much, but the extra protection is quite nice (from composite that is).

Up to you really, but I reccomend wearing some type of armor the higher the mobs you're fighting.

As a TKM, I haven't found armor that needed in PvE whatsoever...but in PvP...I've noticed my full suit of layered composite takes hits rather nicely. So IMO, PvP = Have armor available to wear (I.E. Macro...)

and in PvE = rely on toughness, or just a suit of ubese will do it.

I'm TKM... the only time I wear armor is when I'm riding my swoop bike to take some of the random damage from mobs as I ride.
