Well as i am sure some of you know UT2K4 demo came out a few days ago.. and i have been playing the living crap out of it ever since..
anyways.. swg has finally really gone from my intrest... i have been gazing on at MEO (middle earth online) MxO (matrix online) WoW (world of warcraft) very anxious to get my hands on em.. and well SWG is really just to slow and the late game content hasnt been very rewarding at all..
jedi isnt enough for me to keep ( i just got jedi like 3 weeks ago) and ya.. its pretty boring.. oo i can use force powers? so what
not enough to keep me here... dont get me wrong SWG is a GREAT game and i ahve been playing it since the very early beta.. and thats probably why i am sick of it now
sry Devs... my idea of a good time isnt grinding =/ which is what is basicaly required if u really want to get anywhere ... but stil i love swg and i am happy to of been ehre and i loved my fellow TKM ppl even more ( i have eben a TKM since the end of the first month of retail and have stuck with it since
anyways goodbyes sux so ill leave with some tips
1. you CAN get TKM within 2 days if u grind giant baznitch missions on Dathomir.. i did it and i only played maybe 4 hours each day.. so 8 hours of grinding those missions using ur knucklers or whatever and u WILL be a master... also ull have lots of spare $$$ cause they pay 11k each.
2. ONCE YOU HIT TKM DONT USE UR KNUCKLERS UNLESS YOU HAVE TO.. (this is for PvE) u DO hit faster and hence can do more damage in a short amount of time ( ppl will argue against this saying knucklers are the way to go) well ya knucklers ARE the way to go for PvP .. but i can take down jedi NPC's and any forcewitch.. and any rancor and any kimo with buffs and no knucklers..
3. stackable defenses folks.. make up your own combo ... i personally had pistoleer defenses and fencer defenses.. i couldnt be knockdown and i was dodging everything
4. imperial... always be imperial.. because rebels are fruity even if they argue it.. theya re still fruity.. and they know it
5. imperial base on lok is a excellent spot for mass imp points.. (if ur into doing faction things and faction rewards this is the place to do it.. with a swoop bike... and some decent buffs and my fists i made about 25000 imperial points within a day or 2 there... that was mass grindage btw .. but it let me put imp base in my city and crap so its all good.
there is so much other stuff i should tell anyone who is new or is struggling.. but ull feel more rewarded if you figure it out urself =)
ok i wont make you read anymore... you guys have been great.. so has alot of other people... swg really does have a great community.. DONT LET THOSE FEW A$$HOLES WHO BASH THE GAME RUIN IT FOR U... have fun...
www.breakthelimits.net <-- my clan site we are always looking for new people and is now recruiting for ut2k4 leave a message in the guest forum and ill be sure to hit you back asap ... ( i am one of the head admins name on it is Solidus) only good ppl plz i dont like wasting my time with nubs in FPS games
lates all.. keep true to the TKM its a great profession dont let the devs... nerfing...the holocrons.. or even god himself make you drop that profession
farewell all

Every MMO is a grind. Just find the one you enjoy and stay with it, but don't talk crap about SWG just because it doesn't suit your particular taste.

Umm it didn't sound like he was talking crap about SWG at all. He didn't like the grind, so what, that is his choice. I'm not fond of it either. I saw more praise in that post then crap talking for sure.
Anyway, have fun doing playing whatever game suits you. Good luck.

Amen to that brother, although I said the same thing 5 months ago and played Final Fantasy XI. That was fun for a little while, but that is the definition of grind. At least this game has different enemy models, XI you could fight crabs to level 75. /sigh. You'll be back soon. Lol. J/k. This game is for me so I'm back to it and sticking to it (although definitely psyched about giving MOE online or WoW a try, hate matrix though). And I don't think he was ripping SWG at all. Some people have had enough, so let them go. The man accomplished a Jedi. Isn't that the peak of this game? Oh well, good luck bud.
