Thread: HAM costs, mind importance?

Everyone seems to talk about the massive HAM costs on the mind and how you need high mind stats, etc (besides for powerboost).
Every fight I get in a incap from health loss, not mind... both from specials and getting nailed for 150 dmg a hit

That's talking about pvp while buffed. In which case, you take no health or action damage from specials, only mind.

Yeah if you go hunting with doctor buffs and nothing to boost your mind you will run out of mind in no time trying to spam unarmed hit 3. If you do have doc buffs and are hunting...hunt without your VK...doesn't cost as much for specials and you don't damage the weapon itself.
If you are going to PvP, say you are going to duel another TKA, and figure both have doc buffs and 80% kinetic composite. The one with mind enhancements will win because they can spam longer and if you are dueling someone with kinetic enhanced composite and doc buffs you should target the mind since those are the weakest stats...even with enhancements sometimes.
