"Well, I've been hearing a lot about new Fight Clubs springing up all over Ahazi." *everyone claps*

That means people are breaking the First Rule of Fight Club!!! I see the strongest and the smartest men who have ever lived here at Fight Club... and these men are now grinding FRS or Force Sensitve Exp... So, I have decided to hold another event. The time is Saturday March 26th at 7pm Eastern Time, the place istheMONEYMAKERS guild Hall (Talus -2723 2083). (I will post waypoint shortly).

(SPECIAL: In regards to Buffs. No Food or Drink will be allowed!!! No outside buffs will be allowed!!! Buffs will be provided if we allow them at all. I am in the process of hiring Doctors/Entertainers as we speak)

In case you haven't seen the rules before here they are....

Welcome to Fight Club!

1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.

3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes incapped the fight is over.

4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.

5th RULE: One fight at a time.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.

7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight.

9th RULE: No Armour, no Blasters, no DOT's, no Overts no DeathBlows.

10th RULE: No L33T-Sp3ak!! (Leet-speak things like pwned or owned)

This is Fight Club! Read the rules, this is not about FRS, this is not about becoming a master Jedi.

What is Fight Club about?

You aren't alive anywhere like you're alive at fight club.... Fight club isn't about winning or losing fights. Fight club isn't about words. You see a guy come to fight club for the first time, and his a$$ is a loaf of white bread. You see this same guy here six months later, and he looks carved out of wood. This guy trusts himself to handle anything. There's grunting and noise at fight club like at the gym, but fight club isn't about looking good. There's hysterical shouting in tongues like at church, and when you wake up Sunday afternoon you feel saved.

...you're not how much money you've got in the bank. You're not your job. You're not your family, and you're not who you tell yourself.... You're not your name.... You're not your problems.... You're not your age.... You are not your hopes.You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all part of the same compost pile.

Why no ranged combatants????

All a gun does is focus an explosion in one direction. You have a class of young strong men and women, and they want to give their lives to something. Advertising has these people chasing cars and clothes they don't need. Generations have been working in jobs they hate, just so they can buy what they don't really need.

Are Jedi Welcome?

Anyone who follows the rules is welcome. Anyone caught breaking the rules will be ejected from the tournament and marked for immediate execution.

How about Buffs/Mind Buffs/Foods/Drinks?

I am in the process of hiring Doctors and Entertainers currently.Any buffs will be provided at the event IF they are allowed at all. That decision will be made later. Don't show up buffed and start complaining that you thought it was ok. No whiners at Fight Club!

Oh hey.. where/when is Fight Club going to be held???

The location is 300m from the Talus Imperial Outpost. I will post the waypoint in 2 hours as soon as I can get home and login. If you are interested in joining Fight Club! then you need to reply in this thread or send me an in-game email. The event will not be held until I have at least 10 combatants.

Why Did the Fight Club! Live Events stop?

This was due to poor attendance and the fact that it became a cliche' for Jedi leveling. The last two Fight Club events had poor attendance so I was waiting for the right time to begin again.... I think that time has come!

Is there a Prize or Reward at the end of the event?

No, Fight Club is the reward!!! You get to fight other Melee fighters with no fear of griefing, harassment or death (as deathblows are against the rules.. you did read the rules right?). No score is kept, no money changes hands.

Can we gamble?

Thats up to you mate, I say we take a gamble everytime we wake up in the morning so why would I try to stop you? This Dojo does not facilitate any gambling but if you want to make a wager with someone feel free.

Help Wanted: If you are a Doctor or Entertainer I will be hiring buffers for this event. Payment to be negotiated but in general I'd say I can be pretty generous. You can send me an in-forum mail or ingame tell/mail and I'll let you know whats up.

You may want to be careful about advertizing a fight club..... they arent generaly smiled upon. they can be abused for jedi FRS so i would be really carful.

This is NOT a Jedi Fight Club!

I will not even jusitfy that with an explanation, please read my entire post. This is a MELEE TOURNAMENT, this is about melee prof's gathering for fun, please re-read.

I know this isn't the events forum... but.. this is for Teras Kasi and the like on Ahazi. This is a celebration of the Melee arts!

Anyway, it's getting huge now! We have 2 Doctors providing Buffs, we have the Famous Fat Wookie Band coming to provide entertainment!

PvP experts or just barely TK Novice are welcome to come join the festivities! There will be plenty for the non-master and non-combat players to do as well! If you're on Ahazi, you can't miss this!

This is a fun event I will try to make it tho with the holiday weekend it might be tough. Glad to see the REAL fight club is back.

Hehehehe.. it has exploded into an all day thing from the looks of it as well! First off, we have the Fight Club, also at the sametime there will be a live band (FFWB) throwin a party downstairs to help me celebrate my third Ace... and now... one of my guildies is also going to get married at the event!!!

Tomorrow I'll be getting online hours before the event to start placing Barker NPC's and decorations throughout the galaxy, all are welcome! Hope to see you there!
