Why is their a hidden mind cost on attacks? As a tka/doc it can sometimes take awhile to drop a foe, and my mind pool if draining from my attacks.
What I am wondering is why don't weapon desc's show the mind and action costs?

I have to agree. I actually got incapped from mind and by then I was doing nothing except melee hit. The spider knocked me mindless...lol.

Do the other melee professions's weapons have a mind cost or is it a tka bug?

The only TKA ability that comes with a mindcost for me is powerboost, your healing-abilities however have mindcosts.

You never, ever get incapped because of low mind, the only bar that causes an incap if it reaches 0 is health.

I think what he was saying was that he was incapped because he ran out of mind and could not heal anymore.
I agree that there is a hidden mind cost with attacks. It doesn't seem to matter what I have equipped, there is always a small mind cost. Mostly it is very small, but if you watch your HAM while fighting, even the default attack (Melee Hit, in my case)drops the mind bar a little when it fires off.
The main thing is, it all adds up over time. True, the Mind bar regenerates as fast or faster than these tiny costs associated with attacks, but the point is the Mind bar is having to regenerate points that it otherwise wouldn't have to (if attacks didn't cost Mind points). If you have Medic or Doc and you are doing a lot of healing, it definitely adds up.
I believe that only things like buffing, healing, and state removal should have mind costs. I would also cut those costs by 50-75% across the board, especially for buffs. It is ridiculous that I can only buff two group members and then have to sit and meditate. Most groups do not have patience to sit around waiting for me to med and buff everyone... of course it would help a ton if the cool-down timers on buffs were cut in half also, but that's a Doc issue.
Having said that, many tanks have some Medic or Doc to improve their tanking abilities, and many of us feel that it is essential (at least the way agro currently works) so maybe it is a tank issue after all.
