I just got in a good group where your damage doesn't hurt or help that much and used only my fists. When I got higher up I used a Blasterfist but I couldn't see a big difference in damage output.

Well it depends on your CL already, if you're between CL 14 and 39 then I'd use the vendor search to find a decent Massassi Knuckler as that only hasa CL 14 requirement, no cert requirement to it like the CL 14 Vibro Knuckler which requires Novice TKA. If you're lower than 14 then I'd say to go level 1h and pikes to try to boost your CL to 14 so you can use the Massassi Knuckler. That's what I did and it's worked great, I used it until I could use the VK and then shopped around for one of those and proceeded toget 0100 first and then stopped using it when I hit 0110 because I was starting to come out better overall damage with just my fists and less action used. Even that depends on the SAC you find on the knucklers, it's thought that our fists have a SAC of 100 so if you find one with a SAC at 99 or lower then you MIGHT come out better using that still, you'll just have to try both and see which seems to work better overall.
