Thread: What would you add to Master TK and Master Doc?

I'm thinking of taking Swords 0031 for advanced armor break and critical hit. Any other ideas?

I went with TKM/Doc/swords0310.

Thats because i wanted to be the best Tank i could and area taunt helps me with that.

0040 pikeman

intimdate + impr. warcry (-15 combat speed)

or go to 0130 pikeman

intimdate + warcry (-10 comabt speed) AND a area attack

i took master brawler.
adds a bleeding dot hit from 1h, an area knockdown from polearms and a high damage hit (melee assault) and a defensive move (riposte - directing damage back to the attacker) from master.

Yup master brawler too - the added bonus is it give a little more defense too... All helpful for the RP tanking. I say RP coz we all know it aint real

I posted the same question not so long ago but didn't get much help. I've settled for 4440 medic and will use the remaining SP's in FS. I just didn't feel the SP's I was spending in master brawler and/or pikes benefitted me that much compared to area heals.

My two cents. I am TKM/MD and I ended up going Swords 0004. We all know TK damage isn't where it's at, and with this combo I get Advanced Critical, Head Hit and tons of accuracy. Some of the other posters here had good points...area taunts, some pikes for the intimidate/warcry and crowd control, master brawler...


In the end, I felt that the area I was most lacking with TKM/MD was damage output and general accuracy, and the swords 0004 gives you that.

I went with 1030 swordsman, and have tried nearly all of the above. I probably won't change from this for a long time. After sticking dizzy, armor break almost always sticks, increasing the dmg on every hit you do. You also get the old UA3 animation from the first power attack, and itsstronger than headhitor combo attack.

I am currently TKM/MasterDoc/Swords0,0,0,3 and I'm going TKM/MasterDoc/Swords1,0,0,3 . So far taking the extra brawler tree and accuracy tree in swords has made a huge difference in speed and damage I almost feel like the pre CU TKM I used to be. When I get Power Attack I think I'll be happy this is definetly a great Temp for those who want to keep MasterDoc.

If you are a rebel then try 0400 pikes which give you spin attacks. Go buffed and solo and farm all the imp npc's there then kill the at-st's. Then go to the Talus imp outpost and do the same. Nothing like blasters firing and you doing spin attack s and detroying every imp in your path. Do this with the kasshyk bladestick and you won't miss getting Jedi.

oooooo try this its fun, master doc/tkm/ 2020 swords gets you power attack (sexy) and berserk, then armor break and sword flurry (add 120 defense to CoB) i have always liked power attack better then critical, critical is too hard to land especially when you arent a master, power attack is much more effiecient at this level of swords, i used this template against many ranged and melee and with the tank and doc heals i was unbeatable, all i can say is get a good knuckler, Katarn or Necrosis, then hit with swordsman moves to increase ability, my personal favorite chain was KD + armor break + berserk + PowerAttack + Sword Flurry for Defense adds/ then use melee strike repeatedly
