I love being a TKM. LOVE it. However I hardly ever bother with melee as I am also a Smuggler/Pistoleer. Melee is kind of a great surprise to break out for a hit or two when another meleer manages to get to melee range. They tend to be a bit thrown when you stand back up from being knocked down and drop them on their own backsides.


I'm sure I'm probably the only one this bugs... but a TK's hands should be the weapon in the game with the LOWEST SAC possible other than maybe some extremely well crafted pistols (so around 50-60 I think). Furthermore they should be the fastest melee weapon in the game. They simply shouldn't do tons of damage with each hit.


Furthermore, while VK's of various types are an amusing enough weapon, I'd love to see some Gloves that work sort of like powerups for unarmed attacks. Heavy Gauntlets that add power but also raise SAC. Ones that add some electricity damage.


I don't know, I became a TK originally to fight unarmed, not to fight with a weapon.


TK's should be a low damage dealing prof that never really uses up action.


I'd love for TK's to have two Attack Commands for every melee attack we get. A regular version which would work just as it does now, and one that could be used as an Unarmed attack (Using unarmed damage mods and the lower SAC costs [and preferably newish animations]) regardless of what weapon the TK is holding. So a TK/Pike could fight using their Uber Kash Pike for major specials but rely on their off hand and kicks as the default low cost SAC. A TK/Commando could throw a punch or a leg sweep now and then despite wielding their flamer.


I know its a game and there are inevitable head scratching odditiesbut it just seems strange that a TK with a weapon in their hand suddenly forgets how to fight without it.
