On dantoonie there are Dark jedi knights and masters... 27-28k ham
i killed two knights solo... one of them had a cool purple lightsaber. I am a master medic i wore no armor. and i did it with my VK's unequiped Dizzy knockdown... I am sure i found some stupid exploit or something but that made me feel fuzzy.
I agree they made some horriable nerfs to our class. We were fine now we are broke ( i can't belive people aren't bitching about house';s!) they say the increased damage i see a decrease. Sometimes i have fun still, and its with my friends to be honest. all bitching about this game lol. I feel for you wulf, i honestly really do.
Lies, you can't hit a dark jedi; the second you try they will slash you in half and slay you; they aggro within 15 m and run as fast as you do (some faster) and have a longer range; how did you manage to solo one? I have a 1.6 vibro and my skills go 3/3/3/3, I cannot hit one with lunge / dizzy / stun / warcry / intimidate / knockdown / unarmed hit 2 / unarmed spin 2 / or any other attack, and as far asIknow, no brawler ever has been able to hit one;

Your a 0/2/3/2 TK and you solo'd two Dark Jedi Nights..?
Um ok..., Now did your pet's solo them or did you. People keep saying they solo'd mobs but forget to add the CH part of that to the comment.

Excellent point. So many of the folks saying TK is"just fine"either (a) don't solo or (b) say they solo but really have ch pets tanking for them.
Please qualify the context and your sub-professions. Tired of Master CH/Pistoleer /0100 TKs posting that their game hasn't changed since the patch. Of course it hasn't, you're barely TKs! I know I am exaggerating with the Master whatever/0100 tk bit, but seriosuly, there are so many profession combinations of course different folks will be finding different things after the patch.
Yes I am an idiot for posting my opinion. Okay, I have no clue whatsoever how this game is really played. My mother is a hamster and my father smells of elderberry. Are there any childish flames I have missed? Well add them all you want.
I understand that it is very possible to workaround what has happened to the TK profession. I understand that I can easily get rid of my other skills and become a Master Medic and a Pistoleer in order to make my TK skills a viable option. I understand that there are many ways to have fun in this game. But the basic bottom line is:
What was done to the TK profession in no way, shape or form helped balance the game in either PvP, PvE, Soloing, or Grouping.
The fact that you keep harping on the necessity of having to unequip your knuckles in order to perform special moves... that you have to macro your armor so you can take it off... that you need to become a <insert profession of your choice here> in order to make TK a viable profession proves to me that something is definitely wrong.
I watched my friend spam disarming shot 10 times in as many seconds without any major adverse effects to her HAM. And wonder of wonders, she didn't even have the audacity to remove her armor or unequip her weapon.
I doubt there is anyone on these boards incapable of finding workarounds, and actually having some fun.But please do not even try to sell me on the fact that we are better off now and more balanced than we were before the patch.
One of the hardest times I have had in this game happened tonight when I was told flat out, "we would invite you but there is no way you will be able to survive. I hope you understand." And I had to admit to myself that I did understand. So out again solo with my 3 faction pets tanking for me.
Am I whining? You may think so, but I know better. I am tired of all the name calling and pandering. I am not asking to be unbeatable. I am only asking for balance.

As far as I remember, I never tried to do that. I just acknowledged the possibility to still being viable, even after UNFAIRLY being nerfed. The only part that got me in trouble was my believe that the LEVEL of negativity in response to the patch was way out of porportion to the effects of the patch - but obviously the bulk of people disagree with that, which I accept.
What boggles my mind is why we can't both have our opinons. Why people have to go around marking "ones" on thirty (an exaggeration, but there were quite a few) different posts from different people calmly expressing their opinon that the game is still fun or whatever else? Why can't people who think the nerf was good (not me), people who think the nerf was the worst thing since Hitler (not me) and people who think the nerf wasn't great, but wasn't the end of the world either, all be respected and feel free to post.
You know, I admited that my posts had become to confrontational - calling some people "ridiculous whiners" and such. That isn't the way to encourage people to have an open mind, I admit. But those posts didn't start out that way. They only got to that place after being so constantly flammed and harassed for daring to have a different point of view that other angry people. Anyway, I think there is one thing we can ALL agree on -- I'm very, very anxious to see developer responses to TK issues.
I am deeply saddened by this. The fact that there are people that would actually come out and say this is unbelieveable.
I am also willing to bet that this group was made up of pistoleers bounty hunters smugglers and creature handlers and maybe 1 medic to follow around the pets and 1 to follow around the players and heal them.
It is sad that a group like this does not need any melee support. And they wonder why they need to be nerfed.
I have just recently stopped wearing my TKA title. But for other reasons. In PvP it is like a sign saying "Kill me I cant catch you" or "Please knock me down" in bright red letters.
In a few weeks I may sell back my TKA skills. I only hope they give me a reason not to.
