"I have no need to fear the dead".

Simply put, while there are still a few underlying problems, I think that the update is certainly a step in the right direction. No, it won't fix everything, but I'm happy that the devs realise there is a problem, and to some extent even realise what the problem is.

A good offense is a good defense, and the ability to string together high level moves will certainly give us a combat edge. Again, I still think there is room for improvement, but I finally have hopes that this game is moving in the right direction(Or raph got lucky and just made up a TKA patch off the top of his head or something).

Anyone else's input on the update?

Please nerf TKA's! I just one hit incap'd myself again with knockdown!

Well, I agree with the 'general move in the right direction' thing, and the fact that someone's actually paying attention is a nice thought. That being said, I have number of concerns. First, I'm worried that if these minor tweaks are accepted, they will stop looking at other stuff and move to the next class. Second is the increase in Mind drain -- this is no good since you can't heal mind outside of cantinas/tents. I'd rather stick with the health/action drain personally. Third, I think if they'd just add a dodge/evade ability to our class that worked reliably with feedback when successful, we'd be a lot more viable in combat.

It's really worrying me how many players are saying that they never use special moves -- just load up on armor and VKs and stand there swinging. What's the point of a martial artist class if you're just swinging your fists? Seems like people are abandoning the special moves, when those should be the core of our class.

I'd rather have seen dodge/evade, extended range, and maybe some natural armor or something... I still think defense is a bigger problem for us than offense ATM.
