Thread: is getting novice TKA worth it?

im currently working on Commando with creature handler second and was thinking since i already have unarmed 4 i could get novice TKA pretty easily.
the problem is the way i have things planned i would only have enough for the 6 skill points to get novice and no other tiers or levels. my question is it worth the time getting "just" novice?
unarmed 4 is pretty worthless in my opinion as i cant seem to kill anything larger then a womp rat without getting incapped but i see TKAs taking down 7000 HAM creatures in 2 seconds. obviously these guys are probably well advanced but just how good is a plain ol novice?

Got novice TKA twice now, but there is quite a big difference in damage between unarmed 4 and Novice TKA.
Plus now you need Novice TKA to use vibro knuckles, so again this gives you more damage and speed in unarmed.
Personally I would say if you like unarmed combat, go for novice TKA, try it if you don't like it you can always drop it when you need the 6 skill points.
