Ok....I know you guys want to make the game as "real" as possible so here goes.

I am a Jujitsu Artist of some 12 years now, hence why I chose TKA.

The whole purpose of the martial arts is not only harmony, enlightenment and defense but also the ability to carry out actions by the use of a concentration element of spiritualism called Chi.

Martial Artists do not depend upon raw brute force and strength to over-come opponents. In fact my 60 some odd year instructor is half as strong as me and can take me easily. He is feable in stature compared to me and in strength yet can overcome opponents twice his size and strength. Ever heard of Joyce Graci?

He was 180 ibs of skinny bones and muscle and was undefeated in the Ultimate Fighting Championships for years. He never hit or struck an opponent in the face but always made his opponents "tap out" or quit.

I cannot tell you the focus and training that takes, which brings me to the TKAs. Why is it that the better I get, the worse I am at carrying out special moves? Why is it that as a martial artist I suffer more damage trying to carry out a special than I do from my opponent? This makes no sense for a game trying to be realistic.

There are moves I refuse to even use....Knockdown, Unarmedcombo...ect. As I get more proficient as a TKA should I not also be proficient at conserving my HAM as I get more skills? That would make sense to me. My instructor did not get worse as he training for 40 years...he got better at using less strength and less effort to carry out moves that break, disrupt and incompacitate. Why is not the case with TKAs? It is really a contridiction.....The better I get the worse things get? I am at the point that the reason I go up a certain skill tree is just to get the damage and speed modifiers and then I remove the special move from my menu bar..I mean what is the point?

If I use unarmedhit2 and it does 1000 damage but knocks me down 80pts on my HAM, but then I just use berserk and it does the same amount of damage over a longer period of time at the same cost...then what the hell is the point!!!??? I still take the same damage suffer the same loss of HAM just takes a little longer then I see no reason to use any of the moves....except dizzy and blind which do work well.

I really think you guys are trying to be too Dang Balanced.....life is not balanced nor should TKAs be.

I know Commandos that take more damage than me at melee. Saw one Wookie named CHOOBACA who took 3000+ in a melee dual....Why is he doing more damage than someone who specializes in close combat. If anything unarmed is simply a supplement to his skills not a necessity as it is for TKAs.

In your crusade to make the game more "balanced" you have made the TKA less than what he should be...I think we should have way, way, way more defense at close combat and suffer less damage than we do simply because we ARE martial artists and one of the most important aspects of a martial art is to EVADE an attack at close range......WE CANT EVADE JACK! Also we should suffer way, way, way less costs to our HAM to carry out moves...If there is a way for you guys to monitor what moves we use and which ones we dont..check it out I think you we be surprised at how many we refuse to use.
