I'd go for MCM, because of the debuffs of coarse. So far I've been able to easily outlast the mind of a doc(thanks to tramatize totally r*peing his mind regen) and end up beating him. Hemerage is also an extemely useful skill to have.

I've done both and I'd say it depends on what you like to do. If you do a lot of grouping or PvP, I'd go with the MCM or even CM 4004. The debuffs are nice for either and the group healing along with DoTs do well for a group.
There is a lot of evidence on the Doc forums that suggest Master isn't worth it after Pub 19 because the healing of Doc 4000 is so good. I went Doc 4004 for the self healing/buffing and like it a lot, but I play solo a lot too and never PvP.

Im TKM/MCM. I liked MCM better with the debuffs and DOTs. The DOTs help get the damage you deal up since TKM doesnt do as much as I wish it could. That and from what i can tell our heals are as good as or better then doc heals right now since publish 19. We may not have the infusion or quick jab, but you dont need the fast cool-down of jab when you can heal for 2k.

atm TKM/CM looks more powerful - expecially in PvP.
but if creatures get back their state specials, poisons, diseases and bleeding dots, doc might get more useful in PvE again. and u have to consider u need another basic novice (marksman) for cm. if u do doc u have some more skill points to invest (enough for one skillrow in swordman for example).

tkm/mdoc > tkm/MCM anytime. master doc is much better to have than combat medic. master doc can nearly complete nulify anything a combat medic can dish out rendering the combat to just a medic with AOE heals. so go for master doc over combat medic anytime. im saying this based on my template and with it i have nearly beaten all the pvpers on my server.

It a case of wanting to be a MCM/TKA or a TKA/MDoc. Your damage from the tka side with mcm is weak, so most of your damage will come from mcm, so you are more a combat medic who has good defense. With doc you buff yourself and increase your speed and have enough points to pick up another melee line for damage. This makes you more of a tka who took doc.

tkm/mcm/4000 commando ftw.
better defenses that a tk/swords/doc combo, great healing, debuffs, dots, some melee mods from commando, some ranged specials for that rifle you know you wanna use when rooted
plus: throwing stuff is FUN.
the imperial detonators do an area kd, croyban (sp?) grenades do like a stun thingie.. i dunno what others do havent looked into it.
bottom line : for fun factor mcm >>>>> doc
