Thread: How much does powerboost give you at your level?
Ok, that's good to know then....I didn't have the opportunity to usecause I had to drop TKM.
Well, I'd like to believe I've made a pretty good guess
I believe that action and mind could possibly be 1000.
My reasons for beieving so is first of all, all characters start with 1000 health bar, so why would the mind and action be different.
Second, the SAC cost on weapons average 100 on creation with the ability to have that value lower or higher. The SAC of the weapon directly determines what percentage of action and mind we use.....so if I have a VK with 100 SAC and I can attack x number of times before my action bar is depleted, while also taking in consideration of the action cost of the special I'm using, It shows more evidence that the action bar is 1000.
I haven't ruled out the possiblilty of the action and mind bars growing like the health bar does during leveling up. It makes sense to increase the overall action/mind cap as you gain more powerful abilities which definitely have a higher base SAC cost. Otherwise, if the action and mind bar stays the same (at the suspected 1000 value), a higher level special may deplete our action bars after only 2 or 3 shots providing there is no long cooldown timer that doesn't allow us to spam higher level specials.
I know as a commando, you can depelete your action bar pretty fast even though commandos fire slower than rifleman or other professions......the base SAC is much higher than any other profesison.
So with this theory, I'm assuming that when we eat spice that gives 20% to action, if the base action value is 1000, then we end up with 1200 action instead of 120 action in the case that the action bar has a value of 100. Also, since everything else in the game has values of 1000, 2000, 3000..etc. It makes perfect sense that the action and mind bars start at the same 1000 value.
Anyway, I think this info is important because it can influence how we craft our weapons, powerups and which foods in what amount we could use at a minimum before any excess is a waste. Basically, I'm looking for efficiency as I hate to waste resources, especially wasting experimentation points when crafting weapons. It would be nice to know if I'm crafting a weapon for a level 80 character who has 3000 action or a lower level character who has 1000 action and such....becuase it makes a world of difference when you subtract 20% from 1000 compared to subracting 20% from 3000.
