See my sig for template.
I'm curious as to how best to wield this template. I attempted to solo a Gorax and got it down to half before biting the dust. This was using Mandalorian Wine (+total health +regens) and Ruby Bliel (no healer in my template, was using Stim-D). My weapon was a Poisonspike with 63 SAC (Pup'd).
I basically kept it armor broken and intimidated, while keeping my CoB up and spamming it with Impale and Adv Combo.
What are some tips you all can give me to make my soloing more effective. I'd also appreciate any tips you could give me for tanking for a group. Both in high end, and mundane "gurk" tanking situations.
Thank you.

You also need to keep up the armor break.
Um, re-read the post, that is in there.
Good job on getting it to halfway solo. Medic skills really seem to be ever important these days.

I can solo Gorax relatively quickly, but again... without 4-0-0-0 Doc that would be pretty impossible I think. I would recommend running reposite stance as well from Brawler and get some vegasparine the +98 melee defense food and possibly from of the damage mitigation food. The mitigation only lasts a few seconds, but it'll make it possible.

yeah without healing skills, it would be tough. i can solo the gorax easily (altho time consuming) with tkm/mcm.
get buffed, take foods that regen health and action, dont forget to powerboost, dont forget to keep cob running - never let it drop for an instant. parry riposte stance is helpful too.
keep teh small filling damage reduction food handy (the name escapes me now) and pop one of those occasionally.

I've almost got the same template as you, TKM / MBrawler / MPike / Swords 0044 / Novice Fencer, and it looks to me you did a pretty good job already.
I personally like Imp Leg Hit more than Adv Combo, but since they do the same damage I think their action cost would be pretty similar as well. Your template is missing Imp Critical though, which I personally love. Knocking them down, then hitting them with a critical always hurts really bad. I guess Improved Impale would do the trick as well, just be sure to knock them down every 30 secs for that major hit. Don't know if you use it, but Imp Warcy really helps as well, and it almost always sticks for me, unlike other state attacks. Imp Stunning Blow would reduce the damage you take even more, but with Imp Intimidate I usually find this unnecessary.
Other than states, the only thing that's left is buffs. For fighting big creatures always spice up, Neutron Pixie gives +10% health/health regen/action regen for 15 mins. Pikatta Pie gives you a higher chance to dodge for 20+ mins, also recommended. Synth Steak gives you damage mitigation, but it only lasts a short while, still a short while is still better than no mitigation at all. Breath of Heaven also doesn't last very long (around 7 mins), but it gives really nice bonusses, +500 health, +200 health regen, +200 action regen, +50 mind regen. Combine this with your TK ability Powerboost and you'll have 1000 extra hitpoints.

Thanks for the tips. I think i'll go for a Gorax rematch later this evening and tell you all how it goes.
