ok . . . TKM innatearmor . . . I know counts as +6000 armor . . .

the question . . . does the combat log show how much damage I'm being saved from. I ask because since CU (when armor became unusable to me . . . I have never received a . . .

"innate armor protect against XXX damage" message which is what used to come up when I wore armor armor pre-CU. People keep saying they are taking X damage out of Y total and I'm confused because I have no idea how much damage I am or should be taking.

just go into combat with anyone else who is your level and is not wearing armor and has no innate armor.

i notice a big difference in this situation.

There's a "verbose combat spam" option you can turn on that displays more information. One of them is along the lines of "armor absorbs XXX of YYY total damage" so you can get more data on how much your armor is protecting you.
