I am a Master Doc/TKM and I was thinking that dabbling into Combat Medic for diseases and greater heal range might be a good investment of some of my points? any thoughts?

No Trevon. CM does not need any rifle skills. In fact, rifles have nothing to do with CM at all. You just need ranged support.
However you're right that a TKM/Master Doctor doesn't have enough skills to get even close to CM, even without any rifle requirements. You'd have to give up a lot of TKA or Doctor skills first.

No way, no how can you be a master doc and a master tka and even get novice CM.
You can Master TKA and dabble in CM, which means you'd have to drop doctor.
I'd stick with your current template, unless you just really wanted to try out cm. If that's the case drop your doctor some and try cm. Just know if you ever want to master cm, you can only master one of the 3 ranged professions with it for attacks.

Like the above posters mentioned, you will have to give up some Doctor skills to get some Combat Medic.
I was a TKM / Doctor 4030 / CM 0004...which is a great template for pvp. Now i'm focusing mostly on pve, so i have changed the template to TKM / CM 4304 / Novic Doctor (for states)...this setupi find to be the best for pve and still good for pvp.
CMis great to pick up with any melee template (especially TKA) while still playing your favorite Profession w/o a 3 sec weapon delay, then changing to a Fencer, then changing to a Swordman then changing to a......well you get the idea. You can only be good at one or 2 things - not jack of all trades...IMO

That's not possible is it? I thought Novice CM required Rifles IV and ranged IV, as a TKM/Doc you only have 18 skill points left, and buying into the Marksman skill is 15 points. Leaving you only 3 skill points.
