Im sure Im not the first one to come up with this idea, but wouldn't it be coolto have a Tera Kasi Dojo? I was thinking of making a guild hall into a dojo, but I would rather see a specific structure made for dueling.
I think therecouldbe 3 levels of these dueling structures.
Level 1 could be the dojo, and would be one of the smaller buildings. This would be designed for melee fights and would have special features to keep track of who wins each fight. Through a special terminal you could even arrange tournaments.
Level 2 structures could allow for small groups of players to duel. This would be a medium sized building and would have more room than the level 1 dojo for spectators.
Level 3 structures could be the size of the arena in episode II. These buildings would work almost like a battle field, but there would be lots of different battle mods while in the arena. This would be great for Role Playing. I could just see Imperials holding a Rebel execution in the arena, ora few prisoners being fed to a arenaowned rancor.
Now Im not saying that this should take priority over combat and JTL work. I just feel that when the devs have time this would be some great new content for player events.

An arena would be cool and wouldn't have to be TKA-specific either.

This is a great idea, I would support it all the way. How about this: Have the very large arena structure like you described be placeable by politicians, and have another structure for Teras Kasi called a temple. The temple could be roughly the size of a PA hall with a large tournament area and meditation rooms like that of the TK trainer in the Dearic, Talus cantina (you guys should go check that out, it's pretty sweet). It could also have a built-in TK trainer. Since it would be such a large structure, make it a requirement to be a Teras Kasi Master to place it. I also love the idea of the terminal to organize tournaments.

Exactly what I was thinking seant9. The larger arenas would be city owned structures that would requior a politician to place.

I love the idea, maybe Teras Kasi Artists can get a large meditation bonus that would affect force of will to the point that you can use it one time after the other without waiting. And perhaps the 3 incapacitation and your dead thing could be taken out to encourage constant dueling practice, so no one would have to wait.
I don't know, maybe that wouldn't work that well...but the dojo idea is a keeper.

i've turned our city hall into one (check out the link below), but it would be nice maybe to have a 'game of death' style temple where you could onlly progress by dueling to another level based on your PvP score...or something

Apart from the very nice City Hall decoration done by the TK Order, you can buy a Naboo Guild Hall and hold tournaments in the top floor which is like an open sky arena. You can't put any furniture in balconies though and it's just really sad...

I am currently running a Teras Kasi Dojo on Talus / Ahazi right now. You could do a search on my old posts to find out all the info and such. I currently hold Fight Club! (a player event, all melee tournament, also in the Ahazi Events Forum) on a bi-weekly basis.
I found that in running a Dojo there's a lot of work to be done! Currently I am roleplaying it, which means becoming a member of my Dojo takes some steps. As for any events I hold everyoner is invited.
My ring is the rectangular shaped area ion the main floor of the Generic PA hall. It's lined with torches to setup boundaries. I could post some screenshots tonight when I get home from work.
The Dojo of the Dantooine Sun is located on Talus (waypoint is in my sig...) Why would the Dojo of the DANTOOINE Sun be on Talus you ask? Well, you'll have to come and roleplay to find out! If you want any help setting up a Fight Club!, Dojo, or whatever... lemme know, send me email in forums or in-game. I'm on Ahazi btw....
Edit: I have a 15 minute Windows Slideshow that shows off the last edition of Fight Club inside my dojo....
Go to this URL and you can see it, must warn you I'm no movie editor... LOL! Loud Music, good fights, and Ahazi's best melee fighters! Has lot's of shots of my Hall as well as the tournie...
