Hi,
My current profession is tkm, and a few boxes in marksman... Today by accident (logn story) I went overt, needless to say I was attacked many times. Here was what I experienced: First match, THREE people attacking me... 1)TKM 2) almost tkm/swordsman 3) Expert swordsman (not sure which line is expert) Anyway, I held my ground against ALL of them, and defeated them. My spirit was waaay up. I then had a friendly duel w/ a master fencer.... defeated, against a Pikeman (no DoTs), defeated. I was absolutely overjoyed. In my commando days I lost 90% of the times. So, I went to a friendly duel with a master rifleman/master combat medic... Can you say OWNED? I was done in 3 seconds. None of my kd's hit him, I got every state on him (blind, dizzy, stun, intimidate) But it wasnt enough, a mind poison and a few shots off his ion and I was down like nothing. I then thought yet another CM.... same ending =/. Again got every state on him, no help. So, my KUDOS to the people who go CM, and rifleman /bow You know what your doing.
To tell you the trust I'm really happy with today's results

If you're a doc, cure it.
If you get the chance, meditate.
Otherwise, suffer.

You must have come across a lucky Rifleman/Combat Medic, I get knocked down if a swift breeze comes near me.

First off take poison and disease resist buffs. Then try to lunge1 rather than KD since most riflemen eat thatikilo that give +90 KD res.
But even that might not work since in my experience in pvps when i dizzy someone and then lunge/kd him succesfully, theu get up immediately 4 out of 5 times, rather than sit dizzied and get beaten.

I got your point.. But I can't just hit, wait, hit and repeat untill it lands. It's a serious bug, makes me lose many pvp battles. Maybe Riflemen don't have that good res, but when it comes to pistoleer/BH (new trend) I have to spam..

Have you tried to duel a mSwordsman....IF he doesnt get kdded assume your dead as he'll blow our mind to bits

Hi guys-- I have been pvping for about a week with TKM, I have noticed that if i come incontact with a melee (which is rare, seems everyone is riflemen these days) I tend to win easy. I still seem to be having a problem slowly down riflemen. I autofollow, burst run, try warcry, then assuming warcry doesn't work i Lunge 1, that doesn't usually stop them for me, i always try to dizzy but they are never in range, or to stun, I do use intimdate, then KD2 if i think they are in range... by the time all this is happening the Rifleman has been leading me around shooting my mind never missing... Please TKM's out there help me stand a chance against them,these rifleman have really got me down =(
On another topic, about those that just spam Unarmed 3, I have done tests with guildies and it seems to me that when a person is standing still to hit, that unarmed 3 does go through the life bar faster than if you spam head hit or combo especially if you have high enough focus for it not to cost ham.

If lunge doesn't work I suggest you use some cover.. I once stood behind a lampost before and it served its purpose.. The thing is to get them to come to you.. Pick your battles, he's just gonna run around kiting you until your dead.. Let him come to your battlefield, indoors preferably. Once you get a rifleman inside its all over. So if he's kiting you outside the theed starport head inside. The med center works pretty nicely. After that you can handle him alot easier than hoping to get a hit in every few seconds.

and if they're still shootin @ you when kneeling, try a kd2 or lunge1 again, forcing him to stand and fall from dizzy.

oh forgot, eat 2 canape, drink 2 vas brandy and a muon if mind down...but u prolly knew that
