I have only been playing SWG for a littile while and have a decent charecter on Starsider that I have been working with. I am just one of those people that can not play the same charecter for ever and need a change every now and then. When I play rifts of D&D I like to try out different charecter combos quite often. I want to start out Working towords a TKM and maybe Master DR. I am trying to decide on a Race and Server. I am leaning twords either a Wookie or Zabarak. I would appriciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Play on Corbantis and then try to hook up with MONK. They're a great guild with a lot of TKMs in it. (Or try the ISB, my guild, though we're strongly Imperial and don't have anything to do with TKA.)
For a species I strongly suggest human. Without a doubt they're the best species as far as stats go. You'll also never have to worry about whether or not you can wear a specific piece of clothing or armor (except Wookiee and Ithorian stuff).
If you're choosing between Wookiee and Trandoshan, pick Trando, because everyone knows we are the coolest species ever. HISSSS!

Thanks for your help. Where is this MONK Guild located at.
I have considered working twords the Imperial my other charecter is Rebel so it would be nice for a change in that as well.

I think MONK is primarily Imperial (though I don't think it's a requirement to join), and the ones I've met are nice guys.
They're headquartered on Talus, send J-J, Margaux, or Charism a tell. Those are all alts of the same person, who I don't think is the leader but they are a good contact if you want to join. They're actively recruiting, I saw a post a couple of days ago from J-J saying that they are accepting members.

Starsider has a lot of RP, which makes it awesome.
Bloodfin has a lot of PvP, which makes it awesome (and dangerous).
Personally, I'd like to drag you over to Wanderhome. We're a smaller server. Actually, we're the smallest. But it's very much like a family. Everyone on Wanderhome knows everyone else (for the most part) and we really go out of our way to make sure everyone on the server has an easy time adjusting to changes that patches will add to the game.
We have a wide variety of newbie-helpers, and there's no end to the amount of information and help that our community will have at your disposal.
Also, on a more economical note, our server happens to be one of the most affordable as well. Items, services, and whatnot usually cost about half as much on Wanderhome as they do on any other server.
With the prices so low, that means you spend more time making friends and having fun, and less time grinding out credits for the items you'll need
As for an in-game guild, we have a lot of fun guilds to choose from. We have an entertainer guild called STORM, and a terrifying Imperial guild called RW, a courageous and powerful Rebel guild called TacD, and many others to choose from. Whether you're into Crafting, PvP, Dancing, Hunting, Exploring, Farming, or Roleplaying, we have a guild to represent it
You might try introducing yourself over on the Wanderhome forums as well. I'm sure the gang will take you in with open arms
As for a species to play, we Wanderhome people have a really diverse population. We've discovered ways to make every species effective in every profession. So, when you make your character, create something that you think would be entertaining to play
Hopefully, you'll head our way, but if not... I wish you the best of luck, and have fun in SWG

I am with Atama on this...Go Corbantis. hook up with MONK. and choose ZABRAK. while humans allow for the best stat migration, /equilibrium is probably one of the best innate abilities.

if you have a good computer, Bloodfin is a GREAT server. i have 2 accounts, 4 characters on each and i can tell you that hands down Bloodfin is my favorite server.
it is HEAVILY populated, so you can litterally find anything, and i mean ANYTHING at any time, with very little effort spent searching vendors. it would take MONTHS to visit all the vendors currently on Bloodfin, and by the time you hit them all a whole new batch would have sprung up.
HOWEVER, because it IS so heavily populated, the lag can get bad during 'peak hours' so you need a good computer and good connection to keep from pulling your hair out during those busy times

This is what I am talking about a community and Game where people Help you out. I appriciate everyones assistance. The Idea off all that equipment availible sounds great but my computer currently is not top of the line. I am in the process of upgrading it then maybe for my next charecter we will see.
I think I am gona go with Corbantis for now and look into MONK.

I actually have a charecter on starsider that is working on smuggler. Thats the first place I made a charecter with a friend of mine but he has not been on in a while so I wanted to try a new charecter.
the funny thing about that comment is I might be changing services to the ARMY aaaaahhhhh. LOL.
