I'm starting to have fun with my budding TK and am wondering what else I can do with him. He's currently 1-3-4-2 and I went down to the Rancor Cave over the weekend to see if I could get revenge on the bane of my BE on another server, the enraged bull. I was buffed and using ubese and while I'm sure I did a lot worse than someone very good with the profession, living was more than acceptable
So, I'm wondering what is reasonable for higher level TKs and TKMs to go up against solo? I'm figuring that NS elders and spell-weavers are out due to the 100% kinetic resist but what about Nyax? Kimos? Krayts of various sizes? What high-level content can be done in a reasonable amount of time, what can be done but takes too long solo to be worth while and what can't be done at all if you're only using TK skills?

To be honest with the broken state of the game at the moment, there is NOTHING that I cannot Solo one on one as a TKM. Some things have 100% kinetic resists, yes, but it can't kill me untill my buffs die out.
Our only problem is doing damage to high end stuff due to heavy armor or 100% kinetic resists. The biggest trick with most NPC's is getting them to switch from ranged mode to melee mode. Only things without a melee mode (like a couple of at-st's on my tail) can make me sweat.
All I have to do is keep myself alive and let the DoTs do all the work.

Well TKM is a lot of fun, it what I mainly use till I find myself against a 100% kinetic resists, thats when I pull out ol BAG t21 and give em a little heat.
Giant Kimo's are a lot of fun if you dont mind beeing somtimes too dizzy to stand up, but eventually, you will prevail, unless you run out of buff, then, your dead. You cam pretty much take on anything out there thats not 80 to 100% kinetic resists.
Yes you can take out 80% , but it takes a while, and if your armor cant take the punishment anymore, then your as good as dead.

For me being able to solo things was a big reason I took up TK (that and KD), nowthat I have beenTKM for a while I find that I enjoy being a tank for a group more than soloing things. Lately my favorite is to unequip my vk's, pop a thatkillo and tank a Kimo as my noob guildmates get xp. Sure I could solo the Kimo without a problem but you can only kill so many mobs before it gets a little lame. As a tank it is my job to make sure that the people in my group don't get killed (more interesting than spamming ua hit 3). The same thing goes with high level /high kineticresist mobs except you don't really want noobs with you. Just my personal opinion.
